I’m really enjoying Netherlands vs Croatia, such a competitive game. I knew it would be, two really good teams. As we know, Spain advanced to the final match after defeating Italy with a score of 2-1 in the semifinals. La Furia Roja's victory was dramatic because it was determined in the final minutes, I was wondering why Croatia's odds were so much higher than Spain, was Spain favored by the bookies and many people bet there even though we know that Croatia is much better than Spain.

This was one of the biggest surprises for me yesterday, and I had Wales to win in one of my tickets 
Turkey and Ukraine won their matches but it was much harder than I expected, and I think national teams are slowly warming up in this early stage.

They do have chances against Spain but if Spain has a good day , I'm afraid Croatia stands no chance against them.

Right now , Spain has a double edge style of playing football or more like high risk , high reward stuff because they either score 5 goals or they will concede 2-3 goals ...it's no in between for them haha.

When placing a Multi Bet with many legs I try not to mix my bets with live ones. The odds for live matches are changing like crazy, and even if only one live match is included, this message

I like mixing my bets with 1 live bet, but just because I prefer to see my multibet start with 1 successful game in (or failing on the first lol). Don't bet on games that are almost finished though as odds keep changing and you can't place bet. First half of games should be fine.

Anyway was also counting the goals for jeremypwr's post on predicting number of goals. First day saw average of 3 goals per game but second day was a bit less, I thought it would be a goalfest.

38 goals for first half and 25 for second half so in total 63 goals.

I picked 54 goals in the end, not really close lol

We are 3 hours away from F1 race in Canada and to be honest , the hype around this race seems to be valid as I do think this race can be a winning one for every driver from top 7.

Croatia in last few big tournaments show that they are a strong team and they don't easily give upin any match. From World Cup 2018, Euro 2020, World Cup 2022 and this tournament, their players fight like each tournament is their last one. I feel regret for Croatia as they don't have Gvardiol by his injury.

Spain have more younger players but with young people, they will have bigger risk to make personal mistakes in the final. Croatia are a team that don't ignore or waste great opportunities to have goals.

Lastly if the match goes to penalties, hmm Croatia are strong at the 11.5m spot.

Yeah, terrible value. I got lucky in WC snagging good odds on Argentina early with price boost so I will be looking at similar outliers. I do think your team is good but it is far, far away from the version of at least two Euros ago.

France probably gets far but I don't like the odds. England as usual has lowest value as joint 6/1 favs with Germany.

Croatia always worth a top3 finish if a market for that comes up. Netherlands... 16/1 look tempting. They had a crap NL outing but no one took that too seriously.

Maybe there is something oddmakers are aware of that we are not aware of? I mean there is nothing that I can think of that makes them that much better than everyone else, certainly not a team that has enough talent to win the cup, and yet they are shown that way. It means that we must be missing something, there is really no logic there at all. The only people this hurts is the people who thought that Germany would win but have a long shot so they wanted to bet on them with higher odds so they can have a bigger return.

Considering I want to bet on France anyway, there is really no reason why I would be worried about this, I am happy that their odds are exactly what I expected it to be and France will be doing fine in the end, it should be a win for them.
