I was just going to say that you don't have to look so far back to see total football -- they were by far my fav team in 2008 EURO, it was the last tournament I followed properly for several years as I worked for a long stretch without internet/tv but they smashed Italy and France, but didn't go far either... then I remember if you're 20 now, you were 5 then!

En route to winning Nations League (ironically under Koeman), we saw some hints of total football again, to the point they played VVD as striker! But he was literally trying every page in the book, and they were so bad then, France and England underestimated them, plus, NL is a glorified friendly.
