Bitcoin probably has a much higher level of internationality than most fiat currencies in the market, one of the reasons is that Bitcoin can be converted into any local currency, and the process is much less bureaucratic. Everything becomes even simpler with the use of debit cards. The BTC debit cards business expands every day, and it is likely to make life easier for many people.
I tested that credit card to use like in pioneer if i withdraw a money online it takes 3 to 7 days business days before the money cashout from pioneer to be credited and the problem the fee is high than if we use bitcoin.. bitcoin is good to choose if you want to transfer a money in a day. so i think it is already worldwide use..
indeed bitcoin already used worldwide , but not yet adopted evenly.

to make bitcoin recognized as an international currency there must be at least 10% or 30% of world population used bitcoin , it must be as popular as gold or your own local currency, but now there bitcoin user below 1% only !

Yeah, bitcoin need more user around the world to become the international currency like dollar. The problem is many people still don't know about bitcoin and how it works. It's our job to introduce bitcoin into our relative.

The problem is that even bitcoin users believe more in fiat than btc.
If they thought btc was the bomb, you will see more customers requesting that street stores add bitcoin payment options.

Yes that's the biggest problem, probably not more than 10% of the world population who know bitcoin and not more than 0.5% of the world population who use bitcoin. It seemed like it took a long time to become an international currency.

It might be a while for something like that to happen, because mass adoption is a slow and boring process. We might not even see significant changes in the next 5 years. I think it is up to us early adopters to make bitcoin more accepted and use it as often as we can.

It's slow but it's growing, that can already tell that people are liking bitcoin, but to be an international currency is also possible even with few adopters as long as it is accepted all around the world.

Actually, there is only a small percentage of bitcoin users believe in FIAT. Most of the people here believe in the bitcoin faith to be the international currency. But sadly, in some area, there are laws and restriction which avoid them using Bitcoin as a currency. Thus, they have no choice but to sell bitcoin into Fiat in order to buy daily needs. It is hard to keep bitcoin without spending it somewhere either online or in the real life

The problem is that even bitcoin users believe more in fiat than btc.

Seriously, I don't believe in fiat at all. I just use it because it's a necessity in my daily life. No way I will believe in something that is only going down in value, and thus forcing people to put their money to work in order to not fall behind. That's why I have a good portion of my total wealth in Bitcoin. It's not only to avoid seeing my wealth lose value, but also to escape from the banking and governmental system. It's a complete package that Bitcoin offers me.

If they thought btc was the bomb, you will see more customers requesting that street stores add bitcoin payment options.

The main issue here is that people see Bitcoin far more as an investment tool than a currency tool that people can use to purchase stuff. Also take in mind that in most of the countries it's simply more convenient to just keep using fiat in order to buy your daily needs. Add that there are also zero fees involved when you purchase stuff, plus you don't have to worry about the volatility. Why would people then bother to use Bitcoin as local currency?

Bitcoin is still really hard to be implemented in real life due to restriction or lack of acceptance in stores. even they're not believing in fiat but they still counting in fiat. so, we can't see their freedom on it.
i think if bitcoin could just accepted in stores which provide daily need and everywhere we could stop using fiat but unfortunately it's far to be real

It is already international currency because many people from different part of the world are using Bitcoin and other crypto currency already but the only problem is that some country doesn't accept Bitcoin yet and some are banning bitcoin. If all country will accept Bitcoin and will make Bitcoin as their main currency then every transaction will be fast as long as we are paying miners a good fee. cheers

I share the same thoughts as you in the part that its already an international currency because it acceptance cuts across countries and borders what it needs now is no longer "becoming", its increasing from the mark it has made to the point where it is supposed to be then we will be quite sure and certain its an International currency.

It is international currency already it is true and some countries ban it but it do not have any bad affect on bitcoin because the users of bitcoin in those countries still use bitcoin at there for their transactions to different countries.

you need fiat currency if you are going to do any purchases locally so fiat is important in that aspect ,more business has to adapt to the new technology and the amount of people using bitcoin will be around in few millions in a billion population. So there are obstacles and hopefully it will be cleared in the future .

I was never sure, many still do not know, maybe bitcoin just use as commodities but not to be used as the official currency. This is because there is no country that legalized bitcoin.

Bitcoin is already international currency. It has users from over the world. Yes, it's still not everywhere you can buy whatever you wish directly with bitvoin, now only by cashing out, but we are going to that as I see. I was reading on the forum that Starbucks is planning to accept bitcoins.

it is not yet, you cannot say bitcoin already become an international currency if the users below 10% even 5% of world total population.
a lot of work to do to make bitcoin really considered by most people as international currency.
actually bitcoin have been used around the world , but not yet recognized really if still have less user/adopter.
