As far as I know bitcoin is already an international currency it is accepted by many countries in fact some establishment accepts it as a mode of payment sooner bitcoin will become the global currency accepted that you don't need to convert your bitcoin into fiat because you can directly use it to pay everything outside your country

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's
computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be
reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think? You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it. And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency? How many people like with this thread?
I think it would be a great idea we could use it anywhere all over the world, But the government would not allow it since they couldn't control it.

I think it still needs a very long process, to become an international currency of course requires a majority and dominant users so I'm not sure will happen in the near future.
Maybe it will happen sooner or later since it is already used most of the people. They were using it for online transactions. And there are now stores that accept bitcoin as payment. I would be very much happy if that will happen soon. Yeah it will take time. I think “later” will work here. We can’t say now it is an international currency but yes we may see it as international after few decades. Bitcoins are technological so as the world is moving towards technology. So we can give a logic that in future it will be prevailing throughout the world.

Actually, BTC is already an international currency. It is used worldwide. This map could give you the idea on how much BTC is used: https://bitnodes.21.co/I dont think i can agree with you on that because it is not used worldwide but at some places only.\ You should google where it is being used at the moment. There is no definition what determines a currency as a global. If you take for example Euro, you can use it in most of the countries but some prefer to use USD, Chinese Yuan, Russian Ruble. But this still doesn't mean EUR is not considered global. It's similar for BTC. nope I think the definition is clear enough, the international currency is a currency that can be used in any country in the world while the euro can only be used in Europe alone? in contrast to the dollar that can be used anywhere because the whole world has long ago set the dollar as a global currency , looking at the possible definition of bitcoin can also be said as a global currency because bitcoin can be used anywhere in all corners of the world This is a very good point my friend! As long as you can easily make payment in a currency easily and it is recognized outside your country, I believe that makes it very much international. It may not have reached so many people yet globally but I believe every thing has a stage and takes gradual process. In fact the process is getting faster than expected, hence the many upgrades that has been done on bitcoin development. However, your point about Euro being used in a Europe alone, I disagree! You can easily accept and exchange europe in some other countries easily.

its already happening now in different country like any kind of exchanger in other country,i think in the future other country that dont have information about bitcoin will be like a big problem because of the transaction and to use this in easy way to exchange in other country in terms of money

Yes, bitcoin and other digital currencies were already given an international standard due to the world countries accepting bitcoin and world wide acceptance. Maybe in future the usage of bitcoin will increase as more countries have plans of legalizing bitcoin and make it an common payment gateway same as card system.

The main purpose of currency is to ensure the functioning of the economy of a particular country. Cannot be an international currency. USA tried to impose the dollar as a currency and we see that the economies of all countries are constantly making a contribution to the American economy. Who wants to get rid of the dollar dependence and become dependent to bitcoin? If it is fair to say that bitcoin is unable to ensure the full functioning of the economy. He will never become an international currency.

I think that bitcoin has been widely regarded as an international currency, because bitcoin also has many that use and apply it, other countries have also applied as a legitimate and international currency.

Bitcoin is already an international currency , could be used worldwide easily, you need only Internet connection and some basic knowledge to use Bitcoin and deal with it. But it is not yet legalized in the most countries, and a few countries tried even to ban it

Of program I imagine bitcoin can sometime turn out to be an international forex, but by now, it is still extremely difficult for bitcoin, mainly simply because there are even now distinct things that bitcoin demands to achieve initial, like getting some kind of physical device, like paper funds, also for bitcoin.
Paper funds? Do you even have any idea what you are saying at all? How does that and having to be an international currency the same ? And who said bitcoin is begging for funds as a project? It baffles me when I see people say stuffs they no nothing about just for the sake of saying something. Let me give you some clue! Find out how the blockchain technology works and if that is too hard, try to google the history of bitcoin since inception. Just trying to help you.

In my opinion, Bitcoin is already international currency and available for everyone around the world. Maybe you mean is it legalized worldwide ? in this case the answer is not yet, because so many governments have their own doubts about this crypto currency until now. But there is some countries (Japan, Germany..) fully legalized Bitcoin.

Imagine this scenario: you take an extended trip to three foreign countries. You don’t exchange currencies or pay the fees to do so. You spend your money without ever taking it out of an ATM or paying international transaction fees.

Well, if you still do not know, Bitcoin has already been treated as one of the international currency which is massively used across the whole world aligned with Dollars, Euros and other type of national currency. It is just fine that bitcoin became an international currency since it has given benefits to its users making them all to pursue using it and inclined with it is the fast transaction which is a part of its unique features that is a great characteristic of a cryptocurrency.

I think bitcoin has become a digital currency used all over the world. meskioun only a few countries that do not use it. bitcoin is acceptable in many countries because it uses bitcoin easier and faster in transactions. maybe in the future bitcoin will be an alternative currency to conduct financial transactions. it is very possible. with the popular bitcoin will make it easy for the amda to make transactions with anyone without any third party.
Bitcoin is being world famous for sure and now another advantage of the bitcoin is that it has become the world international currency. It is being use by million of the people in case of the exchanging, I am expecting more than this that I hope soon it will become the local currency in some countries as a lot of other countries are accepting bitcoin as the legal currency such as INDIA, UK and a lot of other as Japan as well.

I dont think bitcoin has to be an international currency. It is already accepted anywhere in the world and besides it is decentralized. No body can take hold of it and control it.

Maybe you have missed something but Bitcoin is already an international currency. I am pretty sure that at the moment in the most countries in the world you would be able to meet someone who could sell you something for Bitcoin. Unfortunately you won't find many shops at the moment, but as we observe the market trends it should be changed soon.

Exactly, the OP needs to edit the thread title because Bitcoin is already an international currency and it is being used in several jurisdictions around the world . I don't think it is yet to become international.
