If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think?
You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it.
And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency?
How many people like with this thread?

It's ok for me if bitcoin would be the international currency but, we have many things to consider I mean there are set of rules that can promise. I think this will take several years to happen and this would be so hard for those people doesn't have an idea about this currency. They need to be oriented to be introduced the new and international currency.

If that would happen, a btc atm would be very helpful. It should be an instant atm so you'll just load it with a specific amount because just in case you lost it, it's just a small amount.
We have to wait and watch in that case. I don’t think so that there will be any such kind of thing even in the next decade or so. It is because of the reason that bitcoin is a digital currency and there is no way that we can treat it just like paper money. Secondly, it is a long marathon and bitcoin has to face so many hurdles before achieving this.

Bitcoin is a digital currency and you can already you use it for your transactions, it's just that it is not widely used in all countries and by all merchants.

It is already a international currency as majority of people across the globe are using it, the only thing we need is that it should hit the mainstream to get more popular in future.
i think so. But some country not accept bitcoin, so what will we do to some country like that?

For now nothing, just wait for those countries to be familiarized and to adapt bitcoin. Since there are already countries using bitcoin, they could somehow influence other countries to do the same also.

Bitcoin is used as international currency since there are some countries that acknowledge about it and we all know that we can use it anywhere but just like the other merchants they still don't accept the digital currency. Let's just hope that it will be more popular to other countries.

Even now bitcoin is an international currency with the anywhere accessibility as well the exchanging opportunity available. Maybe in future when more countries take part into legalized usage bitcoin might be indicated as the international currency. Now as it is functioning of its own, it won't be termed as international currency by the people who does not know about it.

With a very sophisticated system and perfect bitcoin worthy of international currency because it proved easier and simpler to use than fiat money that badly need the bank as an intermediary.

I believe that Bitcoin will be a global currency in the future, day by day bitcoin is becoming a great platform for doing business and making the profit very easily. Already Bitcoin is getting a legal currency in a couple of countries. most of the European countries also taking it seriously for giving permission as a legal currency. so it can be said that Bitcoin will be an international currency in the future.

Doing business was even the first thing that brought me to know about bitcoin. I needed to pay a merchant which paypal and banks have restricted limited monthly transaction and the merchant told me about bitcoin. I found out about the loacl exchanges available in my country and there was it. Easy! It made a whole lot of sense but even made sense more when I found out I already have an increased value from the little one I saved and that was how the journey started. It will get to that stage when people will realise the huge value it has as a global currency than just an asset.

the possibility that bitcoin to be the international currency is not possible, because the world's most powerful currency in the world is dollar / rupiah gan ..

There is a difference between it being an official international currency and an international currency. I have made trade transactions perfectly well between a merchant in the UK from my country with the help of bitcoin. That makes gives me the ability to make payments with it internationally and that apparently does not make it a local currency. After all, it is either a local or international currency, must be one! So, take your pick!!

Bitcoin is already an international currency and that means that you can use anywhere but you need to make sure that there is an internet connection so you can send or receive bitcoin without any problems. Even bitcoin is not known in the law for being international, you can still use it because it is decentralized and it doesn't depend on the government law or something related to that.

Actually, BTC is already an international currency. It is used worldwide. This map could give you the idea on how much BTC is used: https://bitnodes.21.co/
I dont think i can agree with you on that because it is not used worldwide but at some places only.\

You should google where it is being used at the moment.

There is no definition what determines a currency as a global. If you take for example Euro, you can use it in most of the countries but some prefer to use USD, Chinese Yuan, Russian Ruble. But this still doesn't mean EUR is not considered global. It's similar for BTC.
nope I think the definition is clear enough, the international currency is a currency that can be used in any country in the world while the euro can only be used in Europe alone? in contrast to the dollar that can be used anywhere because the whole world has long ago set the dollar as a global currency , looking at the possible definition of bitcoin can also be said as a global currency because bitcoin can be used anywhere in all corners of the world
This is a very good point my friend! As long as you can easily make payment in a currency easily and it is recognized outside your country, I believe that makes it very much international. It may not have reached so many people yet globally but I believe every thing has a stage and takes gradual process.

In fact the process is getting faster than expected, hence the many upgrades that has been done on bitcoin development. However, your point about Euro being used in a Europe alone, I disagree! You can easily accept and exchange europe in some other countries easily.
Yes the currency which is used by almost all the countries of the world means that it is an international currency, although many people in their word countries and in small and poor communities do not know anything about bitcoin but it is still an international currency. Soon all the people around the globe will accept and start trade in local markets because of the high speed of growth.

I'm not sure that bitcoin will become an international currency, I just think bitcoin can only continue to be a digital currency as an alternative currency that coexists with the regular currency. I think the possibility is still small, of course will be many considerations to decide it.

I don't think that Bitcoin can become an official international currency as Bitcoin can not work offline which simply makes it unsuitable for everyday transactions. Moreover, Bitcoin transaction are not as quick as paper money transactions are.  It can be used in a limited sense as it is being used now,but no one will use it for large transactions just yet.
Official is not even possible.
It is already being adopted globally by most people and gradually making international transactions possible which makes it getting to the stage of being used perfectly well as mode of payment internationally.

However, it is a decentralized currency and governments cannot even imagine using it as their official currency since it cannot be controlled, however, knowing that it is unstoppable, they won't definitely stop anyone from using it if they want.

This is a good goal but bitcoin will be far ahead. This is especially good for our families working abroad. At any given time they can send money, and the transaction is fast. But it's far from the truth now because there are so few who know it and not everyone has internet connection.

there must be a responsible state or memorandum of understanding from various countries to declare EURO as the currency of europe. The connection with bitcoin is the same, but the problem is that bitcoin applies to broader domains on a world scale making it impossible to agree fully because of factors of interest. There must be at least a clear regulation of every country involved in the deal.
It is easy for European countries to adopt Euro. But having one official global currency ? it is not possible. And the worst part cannot be controlled by any government or country ?
It cannot work. Highest that will happen is having it as a currency that every nation can decide to adopt and legalize as a secondary currency just like any other currency in the country.

Capitalist will rule over head of state or government if bitcoin really becomes a global currency. And this condition i'm sure will be very dangerous. However, in the virtual world, bitcoin is a global currency can sent to anyone wherever located.

To begin, while respecting your opinion I think bitcoin is not yet an international cryptocurruncy, since many countries illegalize it and there is some country where they are working at destructing it like China. Otherwise, the bright point is that bitcoin'semergence in the world is progressing day after day which could contribute to the situation that you're talking about.

But you must to know you just can send your Bitcoin to others have computer and internet connection, these things are the requirements to use Bitcoin. If they can not satisfy this condition, they never receive your Bitcoin Wink
