I think gambling and investing requires things that are not different ie, patience and thoroughness. Hasty investors are always losing money. But the gamblers who is patient, sometimes gain a pretty good advantage.

I think you shouldn't even talk about gambling because most of us -gamblers- are feeding the house.

One will definitely go for gambling if he will not find the suitable ways of earning and also he had to feed a family of four to five people. He will find ways of earning quick money to overcome the difficulties the world is offering to them due to the shortage of money.

And when he circles his eye side on such ways, the most prominent name is of gambling and it also proves to be more profitable in short intervals and gamblers are able to feed their families.

Maybe it depends upon on every individual of where he feel at ease and secure, because for me both gambling and investment take the same risk in terms of money security. There are many investment site that are offering good and performing will at the start but suddenly it will gone and that is the risk of investment and comparing with gambling then we already know the fact that every bet that we take is always an unpredictable.

Exactly it depends upon the person himself that whether he wants to be a gambler or to be an investor, he will go to that way where he will find himself in ease and will be satisfied from his present. Gambling can have problems related with money security but in investment, on which circumstances one can say that security risks are present. In order to be successful and to get your desired profit you need to be smart and I believe choosing gambling is not a smart way of making money especially if you are playing games with house edge, even with skilled based games our chances of winning is still low if we will not focus developing our skills. Easy to earn money but easy to loss money as well.  Draw briefly, if you're lucky, then the money will come to you quickly, multiply your money. But you can not ignore your unlucky risk, where you're unlucky you also lose your money. Invest less risk, longer to get profit, but less you lose your money.

Investing and Gambling are similar yet different.  My view is that gambling is a kind of instant/immediate risk with potential returns whereas, investment is also a risk but over a longer period probably with less returns depending on the level of investment.  I much prefer investing simply because my risk is slightly lower but also my chance of making huge returns is also lower.  The fact investments take some time to yield returns also mean that one can monitor the performance and trends in the portfolio to have an idea of where the investment is headed.  I feel much more comfortable and relaxed about investing.
