To Gamble or To Invest?

not worse , but i guess it's equal to gambling if you do trading without doing any research. investment and trading also are two different thing. the point are investment aren't pure gamble , so people should prefer to choose to do invest instead gamble , pretty clear choice.

I agree with this , trading without research about coin is same like gambling . But , it's more better than gambling because in trading it has lot of choices you can choose for coin (when you sell it on the right time , I think is gambling because it's depends on luck for sell it on the right time).
For me , I choose trading than gambling because I can control my money on trading.

if i get it right chances is much bigger into trading because if you just learn how the movement will work you will able to earn a lot while from gambling you are just leaning to your luck.

well said. i personally know people who went bankrupt because of gambling addiction that they start selling properties. i don't think it should be even a choice between gambling and investing, the results are way too different.

Yep, gambling is stressful if you're in it for profits, if you're in for fun it's not at all stressful. i used to be in for profits, it got me nowhere but huge loss. gambling is not a way to make money if you want to make money/profit invest/trade.

Let me guess. Your not so much luck needed in dice gambling is still higher than trading or sports betting. If you have very good knowledge on the currency or sports then you don't depend much on luck as compared to dice betting.

As no investment is coming without risk, we need to take the blind shot even after having enough researches about available investment options. Because, as you have stated an reputed investment opportunity may not be so after we make investments with them.
Investing is taking risks with others reputation whereas gambling is believing ourselves for the risk.

I don't think anyone can earn money in the long run just only based on skills in sports betting. You also need a luck to win always so it is not a good way to grow your money but sometimes you can bet for fun on sure matches to enjoy your success. To grow money investing is always good compared to gambling.

For any investment, there is risk involved. So it is not a promise that you will earn money. Are you able to take a lost of 50% of your money? If you are ok, then go ahead and invest. If you cant even bear to lose like 1% of your money, then it is better that you put your money in the bank.

I've done pretty good investing in startups but that takes quite a bit of research.  For every startup or crowdfund that does well there are 1000's that tank....I've done pretty well playing poker too but for every winner there are losers.  Investing IS gambling and one needs to build a solid skill set before diving in to either of those ventures too deeply.  Do what you're best at and don't rely on anecdotal evidence to make those decisions. They both require specific skill sets and they both have a real element of risk.

What I would do is just diversify my funds into different investments that have different risk levels associated with them. By doing this, I would hopefully be able to eliminate the possibility of losing everything all at once, while there's a great chance at earning passive income regularly from these investments. Investments themselves are gambles so I just make it a point to minimize being on the losing end of it.

That's advisable if you have a good amount of funds to invest, you should not only invest in one project otherwise you will be affected much if that will not succeed, there is no assurance that all our investment will succeed and will give us profit but as long as the overall result is profitable then we should be thankful on that.

Investment in gambling also requires skills like how you manage your investment. It is always good to divert your investment into different gambling site. You also need to have the skill to find out which site is worth to invest as you dont want those site to take your investment and run away.
