Bitcedi isn't dead! Just working on some few stuff on Bitcedi!
We also have Two Nigerian Businesses who will like to accept Bitcedi on thier commerse websites.
Trying to get some mobile money vendor shops to buy and sell Bitcedi.

Also discussing with some Ghanian politicians in power into possible implementation of Bitcedi as Blockchain for sales of prepaid units.

Already recieved calls for more information about Bitcedi from a couple of ghanaian locals.

We are actually working on the ground to get bitcedi going.
One of the Use cases, to get Bitcedi circulating with real purchases and services to raise value for Bitced.

For now nigeriafoodstuff.com will be the first to start accepting Bitcedi, considering the wide array of customers they have.

I beleive after getting the work running with locals in Ghana, the rest will be easy to convince since we are going to have a strong use case to argue.

Updates will be posted with info to let the community know about the progress.

A very big sorry, for staying away for so long.

I would love a proof, and so would other community i bet. I did  ask you a legit question while ago and you completely ignored it.

I've had few phone calls from miners who picked my contact on facebook page to ask for more information about Bitcedi.
I make sure i tell them to keep Bitcedi and not sell now because Marketing is working something out to increase value which will make them earn more with the same amount of Bitcedi they have.
Those who understood keep and those who did not, well...

But my advice, Holding or depositing Bitcedi will be rewarding when the work on the ground starts to bear fruits.

8.6B coins total, so will we see same price shake out as XDN? Around 15 sat? Higher because slower emission? Lower because no unique features?

I doubt, since there is going to be a practical use for this.
the value, depends on the use and the demand for the currency and that's exactly where we are looking to strengthen.

And what is going to be that practical use, to be exact?

I don't think i ignored this question, if i did, then i sincerely apologize for not answering.
But to be frank, i rather thought i have answered this question in other posts and i also can't be perfect or might not have provided the right answers.

A practical use, will mean Bitcedi being used by many Ghanaians in various walks of life and businesses replacing the rather expensive and vague mobile money systems which many believe are not trustworthy yet they have no choice to opt out because e-cash technology in Africa is all about mobile money.

Making people realise the safety Bitcedi provides, the barrier it's removes and the almost zero fee that comes with it are some of the many reasons why Bitcedi is a better replacement for the mobile money system in Africa.

To be frank, this is what actully makes Bitcoin the Bitcoin we know today, because people have come to accept it and are using it.

Bitcedi will also be providing blockchain solutions which will see useful applications like the utility bill payment systems, etc but these applications must be negotiated well with the authorities since it's going to be on a decentralized system.

I've had radio and tv interview calls which i had to put on hold because i wouldn't want to talk about it now until we have some new functions running on Bitcedi ready.

Marketing are doing thier work and all these will take some time and money but we'll get there soon. So i beleive holding your coins will yeald in the future.

Hope i answered your question or at least made a point or two.
Please let me know if you are answered.

Considering the network hashrate is only 2 kh/s, there can't be more than like 20 people mining now. I'm running a laptop at like 50 h/s, but someone could 51% attack the network with like to nice video cards atm.

I like the idea of the coin - digitaldarkducknote with a better emission curve, imo, and the laptop is mostly idle otherwise, but if hashrate doesn't pick up I don't think distribution will be any better than xdn.

Also, doing my part to contribute to global warming Tongue

XDN had one-month halving, this has six months, but six months is still not very long. The coin has been out a month and a half and not much has happened. In another 3.5 months unless something changes half the lifetime supply will be sitting in a few miner wallets.

And this would be bad. I did say better emission curve, not perfect (if that exists). I'm willing to give it another month or three and see if the creator actually delivers some of the projects he has mentioned, and see if that generates some additional interest.

what is the sense of attacking a coin that is almost dead? for attackign the network you need to setup a solo mining thing, and with cryptonote it's not that easy, but maybe they can create their own pool and begin to convalidate their block on their own chain i see no reason to do it with that value

With pools' 15 miners, hashrate is only 1.22kh/s against Network hashrate of 18.47kh/s.
Clearly there are some big miners out there.

Need to look into ways to attract miners atm to decentralize network.

your CLI bullshit sucks to be quite honest, the mining speeds are wayyy too slow. I mean 22 H/s CPU mining?! COME ONE! get that shit up in the kh/s range. Being CPU mineable is one of cryptonight's selling points. also enable solo mining from wallet on this shit where you get the entire block reward. it seems like lately these cryptonight coins have lost the ability to be solo mined. You guys really need to introduce a solo mining pool. and kick them CPU mining speeds up some.

Lol wtf are you talking about? He's just supposed to magically speed up your CPU? If you don't have aes support in your CPU it's gonna suck. I'm mining on an i5 dual core with aes and only get ~50 h/s.

Also, the wallet supports solo mining, that's what I'm doing on my laptop, at least the CLI version does. Launch daemon and sync, launch wallet and type "start_mining #" where # is the number of threads you want to use. I've mined a few thousand, full block reward every time.

It's cryptonight dude, I can mine BCN and Dash at more than 100 times the speed I can mine bitcedi. He needs to fix the memory leaks that's slowing his wallet down or make it so you can mine full speed with cpuminer hooked to 127.0.0.1
