What would be your point, that you would say i go and quite my real life job and i dont trade anymore?
100 btc is enough to retire because you can start your own business that you can live as boss in your business..
100 btc is more valuable in the future so i think even 50 btc amoun can help you to start your own business.

Maybe in the future, but definitively not today. 50 BTC is like one new car only,  you need much more today to live like a boss. But in future, maybe.

in most "western world" countries you need about $0.5M which is about 1000 Bitcoin just to live of the money and what it generates in revenue.
but if you move to a so called poor country then it is way less. but also the living conditions will be of lower quality. 100 ov 50 BTC is maybe enough if you plan to die in the next 2-3 years.

I don't have a certain point of amount but I won't stop until I find a better earnings.
A business for example, or a high-salaried job where I would not be needing to have a side-earning like bitcoin.

I think you have to have it. the same as the purpose of life. You must have a number of targets for the amount of wealth you wanna get out of bitcoin. because believe it or not it will make your spirit again in collecting and getting bitcoin. because you pick the destination and the road

All i need a nice house with a garden near the sea and a nice dog to guard my house. I don't care for anything else. An SUV and a boat would be nice additions though.

When i got those i won't have to work anymore.

Very interesting question.
I have my very ''boring'' offline job which I hope to replace completely with my online earnings, including earnings from Bitcoin.
I will feel that I can ''retire'' when my online earnings becomes more stable and at least 2 times bigger than my offline earnings.
In order to achieve this financial goals I count on Bitcoin but also I'm investing part of BTC funds in some other investment opportunities  and also working on my own online business.
Hoping the best.

The day I would be holding 100 btc in my wallet at the same point of time I will retire from my job as 100 btc is more then enough for me to live luxury life.

Close to 500 bitcoin would be good for me but that's all dependent on what it's worth at the time I own that amount. I'd like to hope it would be worth at least 1mil at that time, but that doesn't necessarily mean I would retire with it. I would vest half of in some sort of bank roll after much research, half of the leftover I would hold onto and allocate some of it to the most promising altcoins available or maybe start a mining business. This is way in the future and there's so many options  Roll Eyes

It's hard to talk about numbers when one part of the equation is asset proven to be extremely unstable and volatile.
That is why I don't think bitcoin in its current state can't be used as your base for retirement fund.

What if bitcoin one day will turn out to be just a bubble?

In terms of BTC, I will never stop the hustle, I need as many as possible. It will go to 100k per coin in the next decade so 21 coins would be a fantastic amount to own, also to belong to the scared 1 million club institution.

My aim in earning money is to collect 1000 BTC.  It is a dream but well if got lucky might hit it.   But im not retiring yet.  I am enjoying this crypto stuff.  It is great to have something that you're earning while enjoying it.  On the other hand, i think if I hit it, ill still continue with bitcoin stuff and of coure will retire onm y daily job.

Well, i still not decide how many bitcoins i need to retire. Maybe many bitcoins, around 100-1000 bitcoins and if i already have that many bitcoins, i will quit my real life job and enjoy my coins.

Human needs are dynamic and so as the world economy. I am at my thirties so if I want to retire at 50, then I will have consider the inflation and the value of money at that time. It is pretty much impossible to guess now.

So the the planning should also be dynamic and will be based on the value of money I guess. If I think about today, then at least 2 million would be sufficient I think.

I have a target about 200-300 BTC until retire.
And reasons i will be retire if i have made all of my bitcoins  on real Investment are like properties, adding real capital of business. And i don't full retire on bitcoin, i am be update on this forum, if i can i will make something useful for this forum.
