So you added OKPay deposit and withdrawal option, and you don't write it here? Ah, where is your marketing?

Okpay has been added yesterday. I was waiting today to post here announcing OKpay and API. ( API going to be released today)

As I said since the launch, the marketing campaign wil start when OKpay (done now) and API (release planned for today) will be both in place. Thats going to be fully completed today, then I can start to promote crypto-trade seriously.

Good news!

OK, makes sense not to announce too many small improvements one by one.
I was a bit provocative, but my intention was to support you. Keep up your good work.

Hi all,

I was trying to calculate monthly dividend based on CT trade estimation, but it doesn't seem to be right. Hopefully I m doing something wrong in my calculation, forgot some variable or misunderstood some parts of the stockholder agreement.

Quote
According our estimation, after few months of operation we could make a profit of 25 000 USD monthly easily

If we divide the estimated monthly profit per shares # ($25000/100K shares) we get 25 cents monthly dividend / share.
(I m aware there are only 50K shares, but since they represent 50% of the right on dividend, I made it simpler by assuming 100k shares = 100% dividend).

Share costs 0.2 BTC which is approximately $21 in current market. That would mean a monthly return of 0.95% 1.2%. Which is not very close to the one mentioned:

Quote
This would make the dividend to few % monthly profits

--------

Also, $25000 per month would imply a monthly volume of  $12.500.000 (0.2% fee of $12.5M = $25K).

If we take BTC-e as example. BTC-e volume of  BTC/USD LTC/USD & LTC/BTC for last month was around $25.7M

BTC/USD = $14.55M
LTC/USD = $5.5M
LTC/BTC= $5.65M
(LTC/USD and LTC/BTC approximate - counted using LTC=$2.5 - couldn't be asked to do calculation for each day of the month).

I know these are not the only trade offered, but they are the main ones with the most traffic & revenue.

So it would seems that if CT gets roughly half the traffic of BTC-e, then shareholders would get a bit less than 1% monthly dividend on their investment.

Now, I m not an economist nor a mathematician. On the other hand, I m a shareholder and therefore really hope that my calculations are off.

Looking forward to someone proving I m an idiot :]

The BTC price was a lot different from when the post was made.

Ok, that makes more sense. Thanks for pointing it out.

03/03/13 = $40 / BTC

0.2 BTC = $8

--->  3.125% per month at time of original thread.

Furthermore, I made a mistake in my previous post - with nowadays values, monthly return is 1.2%, not 0.95%.
I suppose 3.125% makes sense for this level of risky investment. This said, I m still wondering why so many people have been buying shares in the last few days if eventual return is now of around 1.2%. (well, I did... but now that I do the maths, I m not sure anymore).

Anyway, that's sorted. what about the volume & traffic prediction?

Here a copy of news I sent to shareholders via btct.co and ltc-global :

Dear shareholders

We have some great news for you about our recent site developments and future dividend plans.

1) Crypto-trade will soon change its tld from .com to .is (iceland) .The decision was taken as a prevention measure considering the domain seizures of big companies like Libertyreserve and many more using .com tld. After the new .is tld becomes active, all the .com domain requests will be redirected to .is

2) We have recently added OKPay as a payment option which will enable us to deal more efficiently with fiat currencies giving thus increasing our trading volumes as well.

3) We have released API v1 as well to automate various trading functions such as trade, cancel orders, get trades history etc.You can find more by visiting our API documentation page.

Finally, we are ready to start a big advertising campaign for crypto-trade.com to promote it as fast as possible.

Additonally, the next dividend will be bigger than what was stated in the first contract. As we like to support early adopters and shareholders, the next dividend will comprise of 100% profit for the month of June which will be reversed to the outstanding shares. This will increase the expected dividend considerably, keeping in mind that only 2-3% of the website's shares has been sold yet.

This operation could be effective again in july at my whole discretion.

Regards, Neotrix
https://crypto-trade.com

PS : I also forgot to mention that payment for crypto (BC, LTC...) are now instant and automatic.

As I would not advice to do such a statement since it could provocate some one to unleast a huge attack on you. I also feel you would like that to happen to test what you can stand  Grin

BTC-TC says: Outstanding 2375 / 10000 Issued.
Does this mean that 50% of the profits of Crypto-Trade will be shared as dividents to 2375 people?

Are the IPO shares already sold out or not?

I checked the site, it is very nice and really feels like a trading site! Congratz!

Can the boxes be customized? I mean, removing some, changing position of others?

Okay, IPO is not sold out. Then how do you explain the jump to 0.25 on BTCT?
You should offer all IPO shares at once, instead of adding new shares whenever the supply is low...
Otherwise this is is market manipulation...

Since the start all shares was placed at 0.2. However many investors emailed me to complaint about the bad affect this big wall was. The best would I had placed the other batch up at 0.25...0.3.. showing people the 0.2 was first batch cheap. However i didnt issued the 3 others batches for now.

I'm placing 500 or 1000 shares now at 0.2 and add some daily or hourly to avoid the price can go up and thats everybody can buy a 0.2 anytime. In fact I got surprised the 500 shares was filled so fast last night and that 5 shares was even sold at 0.25 (not to me, as I can place only share at 0.2 price) I directly added 1000 shares or like at 0.2 again.

There no manipulations just a mistake of me not putting enought shares for sale last night. As explained it was not my willing as Nobdy could expect so much sales in one night. I also didnt sold shares up to 0.2 so no interest or profits to do it. Additionnaly everyone buying is reading the contract and can see the number of shares outstanding. I think it can show no manipuation is done on my side...

We was thinking at this options when created the layout to finally forgive it. We can add this on the list of future evolutions.

100% of profits (we take nothing for us this month) will be reversed to outstanding shares in BTCT.co and Litecoinglobal.

Bought some shares today.
I don't know if it's going to be profitable, supporting new exchanges doesn't seem to be a bad idea though.
You had some issues communicating with the shareholders earlier, but at least it seems like you are trying to build an good exchange.
