Regarding the securities markets shutting down:

Frequent emails are provided to us regarding who holds shares, so while there may be a panic on the market itself currently, the shares and dividends will continue on schedule.

As for where we will go afterwards: We are considering the possibility of adding the share trading directly onto our website as a pseudo-currency, and if that's not possible, or not acceptable, there are plenty of other security markets we can utilize!

We'll keep everyone updated on this as we decide the route we take. As always, feel free to share your concerns, suggestions, and thoughts on anything thus far!

I assume a similar approach will be taken for ESECURITY?

I really liked the LTC-Global and BTCT-CO platforms, so I am hoping that someone reputable will end up buying the code and reopening and it might be possible to move back. Otherwise, as a second choice, I like the idea of the share trading directly on the website as a pseudo-currency. MCXNow seems to have recently implemented this, as well as 796.com. After what is happening to BTCT-CO and LTC-Global it seems like it may be better not to have all assets on just a couple of platforms. I like Bitfunder and Havelock, but I worry that if everyone migrates to them and then they are affected by whatever affected Burnside now, it will be an even bigger mess. (I'm assuming most of the asset issuers will be relocating either to Bitfunder or Havelock, since Cryptostocks has low trust, MPEx is expensive, and Picostocks it seems is focused on selling the exchange's own assets. I'm not sure if there's another exchange I haven't considered--maybe BTER since they did list one asset on there--MYMINER--although they ended up cancelling the IPO.)

Moving shares to your own site is a niciest option. You and your shareholders will no longer depend on third parties.
Will you migrate ESECs the same way?

I didnt choose right now for ESEC Share. It wont be traded on Crypto-trade as will be with share of crypto-trade. I could move ESEC share on another plateform, nothing has been decided yet and I will announce in the dedicated thread for ESECs.

I feel like creating a pseudo currency could complicate regulatory issues. Maybe it's best to just relist under BF since the IPO is still underway?

Either you own the bitcoins(private keys) or you don't. However with moneroj, nobody knows what you own.

No more than now.

This is now official that we work to integrate and move shares of Crypto-trade.com LTC and BTC, into our website to be traded directly on our plateform.

More news coming in next days.

Maybe you can host some other securities on your platform too? Easy extra income?

Unfortunately, there are only plans for ESEC and CT securities as of now. If that changes, we'll let you know!  Grin

i really appreciate neotrix's decision to host the CT shares on his own site..
what happened to ltc-global / btct.co can happen to every stock exchange imho - having the shares directly where they belong seems to be safer.
in addition to that, the transfer might raise the overall volume on CT - which is good for all shareholders.
short term investors might be put off as well, because they don't want to register on a site where they can only trade 1-2 shares.
so this seems to be the best decision for all those ppl who believe in the longterm success of CT.

Any news you can share yet?  Particularly I'm looking for info on how to transfer shares from BTCT over to the CT account.

Sam Spade: We were talking about a lot more money than this.
Kasper Gutman: Yes, sir, we were, but this is genuine coin of the realm. With a dollar of this, you can buy ten dollars of talk.

Most likely, after CT provides a way to match your username on both btct.co and CT, this will be handled automatically.

As well as the great points mentioned by Grinny, our ability to have ESEC and CT securities on the same hardware as ESEC and CT themselves adds some pretty awesome potential for issuing dividends automatically and instantly, management, and giving us better protection against this from happening again!

Yes! The issuer is given regular emails on the shareholders, so we have a breakdown on everyone's account holdings! However it'll more than likely be matching email addresses, as usernames can be used by anyone. Naturally we'll have some error handling to do for those that have changed emails since then, and other discrepancies.

Once more is known, we'll be sure to keep you all updated. You can expect clear and precise steps to be outlined for you if any are required for the transfer!

I think an in-house exchange like on mxcnow is the safer and more comfortable way.

Looking forward to the new feature.

Why do you think I am panicking?

The site is not working.  Maybe it's just blocked for my hemisphere.

Neotrix nor anyone else from crypto-trade has said anything on this thread (listed as their official support thread on the BTCT website) for a week.  They owe us an update.
