dgc = DigitalCoin, right? did you sent dogecoins instead?

oops, i sent doge. it has the same prefix? man, i'm idiot :/. i was acting in a rush (need to move out of that kumala sinking ship)
Is it possible if it's a valid address for both dogecoin and digitalcoin both of them to use the same (shit)coin algorithm for the public/private key pair generation? If this is true both of the addresses should have the same private key and the CT admins could be able to help you and send you back your doge. I'm just guessing - I never researched this and I doubt this is the case.

Edit: If this is the case CT admins can restore all the dogecoins sent to their digitalcoin addresses and return them to their owners. You are not the only one who made this mistake - I read about few other cases in the CT trollbox. If they are able to do this they'll gain some more trust and a good reputation and this will make them some profit.

Edit2: Yes, the private keys are the same. DogeCoins sent to DigitalCoins address and vice versa can be recovered!

yes, write a ticket via helpdesk.crypto-trade.com
but i heard that the restoration is no longer possible since the last critical wallet update - anyway, give it a try.
btw. you can read about the doge-dgc problem here: http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/1t7x2m/for_those_who_sent_their_dogecoins_to_digitalcoin/

We're curently doing a security review - all withdrawals were halted for ~1.5h. This was communicated through the chatbox and we're nearly done.
(you'll see a message when sending the withdrawal request)
You should be able to withdraw your coins very soon again. All BTC withdrawals were canceled in advance, so you'll find them in your Dashboard again
.

Login works as normal. Maybe you checked "detect IP Change" in your security options and are trying to login from two different devices?

[update]
Altcoin withdrawals were re-enabled and are beeing processed automaticaly again.
We've added a security layer for withdrawals: There's now a pause of 5min between withdrawals of the same coin for the same user.

Cdev is still looking into BTC withdrawals, since almost all hacking attempts are focussing on Bitcoin.
Nothing to worry about, since defending against those attempts is a daily business for all bitcoin exchanges. We simply want to ensure that your BTC withdrawals can be processed smoothly (=manual reviewing reduced to minimum) again.

Please stay tuned, we'll update you as soon as Cdev Releases the halt.

Pls write a PM to cdev or admin and they will cancel your pending EUR withdrawal so you can withdraw in USD. Should be no problem at all.

Sorry for inconvenience.

Hey Neotrix,

I am kind of curious about it being in HongKong.
My understanding is that eCurrency is illegal in China and HongKong?

You mean the silver in Chinese illegal, but the landlord said not.

From june to november, CT granted 100% instead of 50% of total fee income. 50% are stated in the IPO (which you apparently didn't read at all) and those 50% extra were simply a gift from CT to its users.
now, where the exchange is more established, they payed "only" the regular 50% to raise some funds. this is the first time EVER that one of the devs gains any money from the IPO for running CT.
remember: at cryptsy and other IPO exchanges, you don't get 100% or 50% of the total fees, you get  0.0002%!
that's what you call a scam?! i'm sick of people like you.

just think of what the dividends might become, when the active user base reaches i.e. 1000 at once (which is not unrealistic at all) - then all shareholders would be instant rich.

I would gladly trade started, but that's all my deposit did not appear in your account, no one does not answer the ticket, not on the forum and even chat online! You can follow any responses to answer me why this is happening?
