Yeah I completely agree with you, after Puyol and Abidal leaved, Barcelona seems struggling to find another great defenders, even decide to change Mascherano position from defensive midfielder to center back. If you don't consider Mustafi (41m €), Paco Alcacer (30m €), Slimani (30m €), Gabriel (27.5m €), Marcos Alonso (23m €), Lucas (20m €), Ndong (16m €) big enough then I don't know what to say. Biggest transfers already announced like Pogba (new transfer record) so we should be happy about that window.

David Luiz to Chelsea would be a welcome surprise.  And he is back at Chelsea according to Wikipedia.  So I guess the transfer is confirmed then.  So maybe John Terry is set to retire after this season?
