Giving up gambling is not easy

giving up from gambling is not easy. yes for me the main reason not to gamble because I'm addicted to gambling especially when you have money gambling you can not avoid because I thought I'd win a big money.the gambling hobby is bad so the  ineed my family some advice is to stop gambling so I stop gambling for good reason.

The mindset is always the problem that helps people to make the decision of giving up or not. Most people always have the mindset of having an income and pretty big one from getting lucky in gambling and then they get so addicted to it even while losing expecting to recover what they must have lost.

Addiction is a crazy thing and has destroyed the lives of so many, so like you said, it is better to find those good reasons and stop once and for all, and if it is difficult to stop by oneself, at least, looking for help will not be difficult.

Giving up gambling is actually easy, really it's about our mindset. When we think it's hard then it will always be difficult and make us give up easily. When we think it is easy, then our efforts will be more effective and our mindset will change. In the heart will say "I can not lose this trivial thing", keep us fighting until we succeed in doing it.

Hi guys and girls! After making quite a lot of money then losing it and crying about it half the afternoon I have decided to give up gambling for good.  Its not for me in have a much too addictive personality. So now I just plan to work for casinos but not gamble.

The thing is you know you should cash out but you always want just that little bit more and then u lose the whole lot. I'm stupid and greedy. Right after I lost i put more in and doubled it then I went all in and lost it. So yes u can make a killing gambling with such a small about like a few dollars but then u lose all u make and waste a lot of time and energy and end up getting upset. Also i shake like mad when I gamble and I hate that. I tremble. When I lose I can't believe what the screen is telling me.

So any thoughts ? Ways to stop ? Ways to gamble with play money ? Maybe there are dust gambling casinoes I can use? U know just for fun and for the fix.

I think that when a you earn a big quantity of money in gambling , so the stand up for it is so hard especially when you are addicted for gambling.

Exactly, we make mistakes therefore we have to learn from every mistakes.
Gambling is very risky therefore what we should do is we have be careful not to spend outside our limit, prevention is still better than cure as it's not good to quit because gambling has already made a big damage into your finances. I really think that it's really difficult to quit a bad habit especially gambling. Gambling is made for entertainment and some profit, that's the reason why a lot of people are going crazy about it. Gambling is fun, however it is addictive too. Once you get hooked, it can ruin your life and you might even end up selling your stuffs. It's better to quit as early as you can before it's too late.

Yes! If someone actually keeps on gambling then a time will come when he will face a great difficulty in giving up on his habit and all the losses combined together would result in huge change from a luxurious life to nothing in hand. Gambling becomes addictive just because it is a fun thing and more over shortcut to earn money without any effort.

My situation to you is that you should try some other things to have a fix about you losses instead of gambling again and again with the same poor results.

True enough that giving up on gambling is no easy task once you have come to terms on how it goes. Of course, when you took time to learn and experience something, you would find it hard to move away from it especially when you know you are still financially able to do so. Absolutely, if one want to quit and only plans that he gradually quit gambling, then he/she can never quit it. I tried to do the same, I tried to gradually move myself from addiction. Realizing it won't help I completely kept myself away from it. Now, again I am back for gambling, but its now for fun and enjoyment.

Find a new hobby to replace gambling. Try working out, learning to code, video games or something like that. I wouldn't recommend gambling with play money, the best thing to do is do some new hobby whenever you feel the urge to gamble. Just keep it up and the urge will eventually go away.

I agree , making a new hobby out of your gambling habit would be a great help to get away from it. Gambling is really an addiciting issue. Once you have experienced it, there will be hard way in stopping it. Making some friends and speaking more with your loved ones would also help for you will devote more of your time in them and not in thinking about gambling.

i know it is not easy at all to quit gambling it can still drain more and more funds you will earn but you should make a commitment one day and make sure you follow it no matter what if you dont follow it try to force you mind to not gamble , try to be tough on yourself im sure one day you will easily be able to recover from any sort of addiction

Giving would not be easy if you are going to think it that way, you are the only one who could help yourself out of this gambling addiction, you just have to be true to yourself, dedicated in short, because if you are just saying that you will quit gambling but the truth is you are not, then expect that you would be more addicted on gambling and more money will be lost to you, if that is the case.
