I agree that giving up gambling is not that very easy. It's like smoking cigarettes, once you get addicted, that's it. You will have no limits and it's like an itch that when you feel, you really need to scratch. I guess the best way is to have more self control.

Discipline in life brings everything and if you are a disciplined nothing is impossible as you can have a self-control on your acts.  Actually people who are addicted are those who do not have self-control and mostly of them would have lost a big amount generally. Its is difficulty but not impossible if some one has those desires to leave the gambling over a period of time can manger to do it.

I agree with you.It's never an easy thing giving up gambling especially if you still have desire for gambling.You may stop at the moment but later on after next few days or months you will crave to gamble again.But with proper self-discipline you will make it possible.You should have self-control to stay away from gambling and focus yourself on other alternatives like sports or art.You can really stop gambling if you're sincere with your actions and if you have that strong urge to avoid gamble.

Find a new hobby to replace gambling. Try working out, learning to code, video games or something like that. I wouldn't recommend gambling with play money, the best thing to do is do some new hobby whenever you feel the urge to gamble. Just keep it up and the urge will eventually go away.

Yeah, it I guess replace gambling a new hobby is the best way to stay away from it. Gambling will not have a good effect in our life, wealth and health. Just find another hobby like sports, game and etc that could able to give you a better life.

it's hard to stop gambling either we win or lose we keep coming back to gamble. if you want to stop, then stay away from gambling-related activities and look for new activities

It is hard to stay away these days when you can easily see some gambling adverts staring at your face even when you just don't want. It is just all about self control. Ability to control those impulse that gambling comes with. I have been there, I have seen myself trying to go back and then there is just one question I always ask, DO I WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE BROKE AND SHATTERED? The answer stops me. I have lost so much in gambling that if I had the chance to have them back or probably used them to do more tangible stuffs, I would have gotten past the stage I am today. It is easy to say you want to have fun gambling, but those stories can change in a minute and it is better not to try at all.

Addiction can be quitted in an instant, but it depends on how dedicated a certain person is, most of the people who are addicted to gambling are just saying that they are going to quit it because they already have too much loses in it, but after a day, without doing gambling, they will just gamble again thinking all of the time that they are going to win if they are going to give it a try again, sadly they are wrong about it.

Gambling should not be a hobby in the first place because it's a very expensive kind of hobby, you need to be rich in order this.
Having a limited money will only give you a chance to gamble on a regular basis so make sure you stick with the rule, don't let gambling ruin your life because once it started to get in, it will become part of your life and you will live a miserable life.

If you already addicted to gambling, then it is true that giving up on gambling is not easy. It is the same as addicted to other things like you mentioned above. If you want to quit doing something but you can't, then that is the problem. All you can do is distract yourself with something else or other business. You must know that you cannot succeed with gambling. You must stop or else.

You may wanna focus other things to instead of gambling. Go outside smell some fresh air you may wanna find some interesting things that you like outside,  focus on your families, play sports, go to gym, date your girlfriend, grab some beers with your friends, Go travel and make adventures, or just focus on your work if you have one. Different person will have different ways to stop gambling permanently. I have one suggestion even though this maybe won't work for everyone. Move to a place where gambling does not exist! Forget your devices and start a new life with new activity too!

We can't forget the device. because we live in the era of technology and you can't avoid it. the proper way would come from yourself. When you're feeling saturated with everything you will leave the gambling.

And that self control must even be from the point you are about considering gambling. Gambling is crazy no doubt, and even some guys with self control can get pushed sometimes to do some more, but it is just usually like breaking a huge chain at that point in time and telling yourself it is enough before you get into it deep. Cause once deep, it is a whole different ball game and you will end up being scared for yourself.

Hi guys and girls! After making quite a lot of money then losing it and crying about not hapfmthe afternoon I have decided to give up gambling for good.  Its not for me in have a much too addictive personality. So now I just plan to work for casinos but not gamble.

The thing is you know you should cash out but you always want just that little bit more and then u lose the whole lot. I'm stupid and greedy. Right after I lost i put more in and doubled it then I went all in and lost it. So yes u can make a killing gambling with such a small about like a few dollars but then u lose all u make and waste a lot of time and energy and end up getting upset. Also i shake like mad when I gamble and I hate that. I tremble. When I lose I can't believe what the screen is telling me.

So any thoughts ? Ways to stop ? Ways to gamble with play money ? Maybe there are dust ga!going casinoes I can use? U know just for fun and for the fix.

Yeah, right not easy to give up from gambling.Play on gambling will give a curious feel and intention to try for winning and gain what do you want. Maybe it's only small amount to spend it on gambling but if continuous I think it's same with the big amount of one play. So if you feel curious about gambling you will be a stupid and greedy person with unstable emotional on yourself.

i agree with that idea though i guess it was not that easy to quit gambling right away most especially because the thoughts of getting your back makes you want to gamble more. But online games is a little bit helpful just to divert your minds. Just choose online games what suits you and you think that can hook you up.

Taking some fresh air will help you realize that life isn't all about gambling, you have to get some time for relaxing and this what I've learned from working all day long and after a long week of working thinking that a good stress reliever is to gamble until I became addicted and came to the point that I've got nothing left. Those suggestions of yours are really helpful especially having good times with your family.

yes, it will never be easy to give up from gambling. especially if we've lost a lot of money in gambling. like there is a sense of not willing to abandon gambling without getting our money back. is not it like that?

It is like that. Losing always hurts. Nobody wants to be tagged as a loser and when it comes to money loss, we will definitely try to recover it but any man with a common sense can tell that something that actually stole your money cannot give it back. Unfortunately, gamblers do not understand this simple fact because they are so much into recouping the loss that they deny simple realities also.

that's a good thing, because gambling has so much power that we can not avoid. once we play gambling then we will continue to play even though our condition is not good. this shows that gambling is an addicting thing, addiction is not something that can not be lost. one way is to think and have the power to be able to fully release from this game. me and some of my friends have done it, it is not easy and certainly will take a very long time. but this proved to make us much better than before. gambling game is only played by those who dare to take a high risk. so if we do not dare take the risk then never to try it though.

Yes quitting gambling isn't easy, I've also tried quitting gambling a few times but I'm back in it every time after a few days or sometimes a few weeks, but the temptation of winning takes me back to gambling. Also in a corner of my mind I am thinking that am I addicted to gambling as recently the amount of time for which I gamble is continuously increasing and gambling is also taking its toll on my life somehow as I am now able to give my family less time as I think it's good to gamble in that time,but I will try to change this.

Correct, the only one that could help themselves is their selves, no one else, you just have to be dedicated in order to quit gambling for good if that is what you want, because if you are just going to quit gambling in just a minute by just saying that to yourself, then you are just going to lose more money than you could ever imagine, you have to shout it out to the whole world that you are really going to quit it for your own good.

Gambling will pull you back, even how hard you try to leave. I tried to leave, even left for couple of weeks or a month maybe, but again I got indulged. But I limited my gambling and now the addiction is more of happiness of winning and also games like Poker helps me entertain myself.
