In conclusion, I would like to say that the great volatility of the cryptocurrency market is a sign that most of its funds need to be invested in the long-term. Sharp collapses look frightening, but they are peculiar to the digital money market. At the moment, the main task is to find assets that have true value and adhere to their investments in spite of short – term fluctuations in the rate. Remember, that ultimately in the gain remains the most patient.

Bitcoin is the progenitor of other digital currencies, so it will be difficult to replace it right now. But nothing lasts forever.

Yes it is possible looking at the way this are going. Once bitcoin rises, most other coins rise, once it falls the others fall to, and the fact that bitocin is the most expensive coin. It if still increases to be the most expensive, it could stop being a currency and rather become a s"tore of value asset" - like gold or diamond, and then they will be other lower valued currencies which will be used for daily trading like current fiat money.

for me bitcoin will not be replaced by any other crypto currency because bitcoin is a legend and it can stand alone on its own ground. Bitcoin is so popular and very well known, so its very hard to replace bitcoin.

With our technology improving everyday, there are chances in the future that it may happen. But I guess it is way too early to happen maybe after all the bitcoin have been mined.

I think it is very difficult to replace bitcoin with altcoin, this is because bitcoin is the mother of all coins and marketcap reaches over 45%.

There's always a big possibility that bitcoin will be replace by another crypto currency in the future since the success of bitcoin is based on the trust of the people and if the people loses it's trust with bitcoin, for sure another altcoins will be able to be popular
I expect that is eth, bch

bitcoin is already over 4 years old , and very very much people know and use it often , so i dont really think that there will be another cryptocurrency that can replace bitcoin

People know mostly about bitcoin and for other coin people just take it easy but with bitcoin people seriously. There is very little chance for another coin to go beyond bitcoin because bitcoin is at the top of most potential cryptocurrency markets and to take another coin bitcoin may have been reborn with new luck and new algorithms

I dont think bitcoin can be replaced since it is the mother of the crypto world. Maybe in the future,  it can be innovated and improved but i dont think so it can be replaced to another cryptocurrency.

In the world of cryptocurrency everything may happen, but if the Bitcoin position problem, I think it will not be replaced, new coins that emerge may just be a competitor can not replace Bitcoin position. Even though I'm new to crypto, I'm sure Bitcoin will be the leader of all the outstanding cryptocurrencies.

I think if nothing at all when the current bitcoin corresponds to the future, there will be a bitcoin position (the king of coins).
If on the contrary, if there is still growth and development in bitcoin, then there is no suitable to replace the position as king coin
I'm not good at guessing bitcoin will be replaced or not

It is not likely that anything else will replace BTC,  not LTC nor ripple nor ethereum.

The argument of digital gold for bitcoin as store of value is strong.  If lightening network works out as planned, bitcoin might kill other altcoins as payment of choice.
if it does not,  bitcoin is still the digital gold as it is now.  Nothing is guaranteed, but usually the top dog is less risky on the long term,

Will second that. BTC should still be unreplaceable since it was the first mover and people associate the crypto space mostly with BTC.

No, I do not believe that. There will be no Altcoin that will be able to replace the Bitcoin position, there will be no Altcoin that will be able to make Altcoin obsolete. Bitcoin is the first time Digital Money came out, And Bitcoin has become the mains digital currency in the world, and it will not be replaced. although later there will be Altcoin which has a high value, but Bitcoin will remain higher.

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
There are a lot of good altcoins now. They have technically outstripped bitcoin, but they have not replaced bitcoin as the king of all cryptocurrencies. I don't think there will be a cryptographic currency in the short term that will replace bitcoin.

Bitcoin can not be replaced by any cryptocurrency. There were so many claims by many alternative coins which were created on slogan to replace Bitcoin and now I don't even find them. Bitcoin is sign of trust and whole cryptoland is revolving around Bitcoin. Bitcoin will be used as standard for digital currencies which will be used in future too. Bitcoin will rule like king always.

Yes it would and cannot be replaced. We all know that bitcoin is the base of all other crypto currencies that are on the market right now.  It is the father of every altcoin as it is the first one and it is the most popular.  I also hear that some altcoin will not surpass it.  Yeah, still possible but as of this time it is not.  Maybe we just have to wait for a century for it to happen.

Day by day is demand and people are using bitcoin was increase, it will stay forever. but i'm afraid there are coins better than btc actually.
its also going to be easy to adopt for online users such as ETH. It may take more than 5 years or so..its possible that it will replace bitcoin. just my opinion.
