I am keen to see what happens next with the bitcoin. The prices are volatile and I love investing into it whenever it goes in the downtrend. This gives me far greater opportunity to earn money with sure shot profits over the time. I love the way it teaches us to wait and have patience. The money management skills can also be obtained from the bitcoin investment as we have to choose carefully from our savings, daily life expenses and investment values. These all are part of the bitcoin investment whether they are indirect or direct it doesn't matter at all. Moreover, bitcoin's financing options are tremendously great and it would be worth watching it grow in the near future. For this and all the other reasons I like it  a lot.

I think it will not going to happen because it is the first digital currency many people knew it and using bitcoin. And bitcoin has the highest price at all. But anything may happen, but it takes more years to replace by another cryptocurrency.

We know that some altcoin have big potential to become better than bitcoin, but so far we don't see it happenned and i think it won't happen at all.
Even those altcoin have big market cap, i doubt we really can call them crypto currency because we don't see much people/the users accept those altcoin as currency, but as trading or investment.

BITCOIN WILL ALWAYS REMAIN KING. ITS THE FIRST, MOST GLOBALLY RECOGNISED AND HAS THE EASIEST UNDERSTANDABLE TECHNOLOGY TO THE COMMON MAN. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE THO BUT THAT REMAINS UNLIKELY IN THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE.

Bitcoin is not going to be replaced by another cryptocurrency because it is the first one and most successful one. It is almost impossible to make another cryptocurrency and raise it to the top, beyond Bitcoin.

Cough cough .... MySpace, Webcrawler, Kodak, K-Mart, Radio Shack, AOL, etc., etc.

Well this can happen. My guess is that ETH is the most competitive BTC penny. At present ETH price is much lower than BTC but in the future I think they will be the strongest coin. BTC can not compete with ETH.

For me, i don't think so. Because bitcoin has been leading its name in cryptocurrency and many people are still choosing to invest in bitcoin because of its security. And bitcoin has the easiest understandable technology to us.

In my view such a thing could happen, especially if bitcoin scam (I do not expect this happen). And I think that will replace bitcoin is ETHEREUM because the price Smiley. thank you
Ethereum? are u sure?...  I think if bitcoin is obsolete, then second place must be hardfork bitcoin that replaces it. ethereum is large with its platform but seems stagnant in numbers around that alone. This is my opinion but it seems that it isn't possible because as long as the world is still talking about bitcoin and its own users still put the bitcoin on the other coins bitcoin may not be obsolete. unless it is closed unilaterally (hopefully not).

Indeed, Bitcoin is the leading cryptocurrency and it is getting popular and stronger everyday. Thus, I don't think that other cryptocurrencies would be able to replace Bitcoin, I think it will take time.

Yes nothing is impossible and we can expect many more to come in the future to have a fair competition as well and also people should have choice of good crypto currencies like we have choices in our daily life.Until and unless tough competition doesnt prevail in the market monopoly would be always there making the price of the currency go up and up.Still btc is the king of crypto currency and would be in the future as well if all goes well.

Bitcoin may be replaced by a different technology or be superseded but it will take a very long time as Bitcoin is a pioneer in this technology. I think Bitcoin is here to stay for a very long time as paper money has been around for thousands of years.

It will as long as we continue to buy and push the demand, there are a lot of industries that are making bitcoin great especially the gambling sites as people always loses there money hence it increase the demand, try to imagine if sharks will be using bitcoin then it will make demands.

As of now i do not see any altcoin that will replaced bitcoin because the value of bitcoin is too high and there is no coin are a little difference of the value, and only bitcoin have more offer and good services.
Bitcoin is too strong to be able replace by another cryptocurrency and for me bitcoin will always be the best cryptocurrency until it is running in this world and i believe that no one on other cryptocurrency can able to beat or replace bitcoin.

When we talk about cryptocurrency network, anything could happen in a short or long run. At the same lots of digital currencies existed following bitcoin which got vanished in a very short time. On this account the possibility of bitcoin getting replaced by some other digital currency is very low.

Bitcoin can fail over the time, but its very hard to believe it may happen, the security level is the best worldwide or looks like it is. Besides that there is a huge investment around bitcoin, i cant say that some other altcoin cant achieve bitcoin status, but all altcoins have someone in the control.

Yeah its very difficult for bitcoin to be replaced by any other currency because bitcoin have established it's fortress while other cryptocurrency are just digging for their foundation.  I never removed the fact that it is still an open market where everything is possible to happen.  I also believe that in due time bitcoin will have it's rival and it may possibly be overtaken by it sometime in the future.  But it is not now or next 10 years.
