This is why I gamble for fun, not for profit. House will always win in long term regardless of game, I don't believe in advantage gambling and these strategies. Only exception I can say are chess over-the-board and poker. First is about 100% skill, second 90% skill 10% luck in long term. Playing chess for cash through Internet is just all about great AI. I'm saying about chess since there are chess tournaments.

Having fun is my main priority. It may be different for other person but for me it is for fun. I only use a small amount so hoping for profit is useless as I might be getting maximum of $5 if I am lucky. Not everybody gamble only cause of money and financial profit. remember the time when we were kids, we also gamble with coins, cards and paper/scissors/stone. I count all this games as gambling kind games. When human get old he puts money on the first position in his life, but I doubt that even adults gamble only cause of money.
