I'm under the impression that Ardor is the only real coin that make true effort for scaling, but maybe I'm wrong ?
What other coins is there with good scaling support ?

How many transactions per second can ardor handle ?

100 tps on $1000 laptops.

yes but this was for nxt
ardor is meant to be more optimized

the more nodes there is, the more tps ?

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

still looking fwd to see how this plays out, still an excellent project with tons of nxt backing and more from outsiders (still coming).  next 6 months should really show where it goes (ideally up!), but hoping btc doesn't fuck everything up Aug. 1st lol.

sold off some held since low 2k sats  Cool - but holding the rest  Grin

Bitcoin is going to be ok. As one coin or two coins. For a while, while more advanced cryptocurrency technology makes Bitcoin less relevant with each passing year. We shouldn't be sad about it, it's the nature of technology, it must advance.

Now ARDR is asset on NXT, but tomorrow it will be a brand new network.
What is the situaction with the exchange platforms? Should today's ARDR be replaced with the new Ardor in the exchange platforms (I'm in Poloniex)?

I guess it cannot happen before the Ardor platform is launched. Afterwards yeah, it's logical to assume they will replace it with the real Ardor token.

As per below link ARDR holders will get ARDR coin in 1:1 ratio against ARDR which is NXT token now

https://www.jelurida.com/ico

However I do not see timeline there so I think it is yet to start correct?

And once it starts we need to have ARDR in some specific wallet or any desktop wallet or even on exchange is fine?

You must withdraw ARDR to one of wallets from https://nxt.org/download or to the online wallet https://wallet.mynxt.info

That will be once this swap (or whatever we call it) starts correct?
And second question will be is that a swap or we will keep our ARDR NXT asset and also get ARDR coin?

No one exchange confirmed yet, they will help with snapshot and distribution. Safest place to keep your funds is your own wallet you control.

The snapshot will be instant, it will be announced 1 month before it happens. You will get to keep everything, if it is in your wallet.

Should it be treated as your advice not to hold them on Exchanges like Bittrex, Polo, etc at the time of snapshot?

Sounds good...
Will wait for announcement to move funds as can trade till than with ups and downs...
Any prediction on price movement when announcement happens?

I think it should move up as it will be good deal if we can keep both.. price correction will happen once ARDR coin becomes trade able...

If you do not forge, Nxt/Ardor dies and your investment also dies.

When the total forging stake gets too low, security of the network is decreased, it becomes vulnerable to 51% attacks.

The total forging stake has dropped to 270 million of the total supply of NXT coins. This is an all time low. Please start forging to protect your investment.

Because it's important.

If you're already in this thread, you at least seem to care a little bit about NXT. So don't only think of yourself, start forging and support the network Wink

I could, I've got 1000+ nxt, but I've got really limited internet data limit, how much of it would forging require, say per hour?
And is there any chance I'll have gain some nxt by staking my 1000coins and helping with forging?

Can forging be done with a medium gaming laptop?
