One day this sleeping Giant will wake up....
I totally agree with you! This project is so underrated! This ICO wave is blocking all the growth to great platforms like ARDOR, hope it gets better!!!!

What? The devs released an update just so it can be more fair... I agree. It's just that most people have a low tolerance for not getting what they want. If there was just one round on one day where all Ignis was sold people would still complain if they didn't get any. The next day they would move on though. Due to the structure of this ICO, you can fail 12 times a week, or twice a day. That raises frustration. It's just an observation. You can't satisfy everyone, especially not when it was clear from the beginning that the first 60 million would be hard to get.

Can someone please clarify something for me:
First off, why is Ignis only being offered to NXT holders? I thought ARDR was the new bad boy and THAT is what we should be holding, as NXT will become obsolete. It says in the Ignis team will be dumping MOST of the NXT for BTC, which will surely crash the price of NXT.
When will NXT be extinct and ARDR becoming the main token? Also, WHY Ignis? What's the use case for this child chain?
So the question remains, should I be selling my ARDR for NXT to buy Ignis? Or should I be holding and buying more ARDR?

The thing is, people don't have answers to why ignis is of any value, I've asked that a few times myself. Anyway I was going to get some ignis from the first round, but it was bought by 1 whale. So after reading different views I decided to sell my nxt after that, cuz I was still on ground zero. I still have a small amount of ardr, which I'm hoping will go up, cuz I don't want to cash in a loss. So I'll just hodl some ardor, but I'd like say that there are better projects, investments wise, out there.

It says in the Ignis team will be dumping MOST of the NXT for BTC, which will surely crash the price of NXT. NXT is only the platform for the ICO. And in October/November when Ardor starts all NXT holders will get 0.5 Ignis. When will NXT be extinct and ARDR becoming the main token?
NXT won't be "extinct", the blockchain will continue to run. Also, WHY Ignis? What's the use case for this child chain?
Regular payments. ARDR isn't thought for that, it will have high transaction fees and is thought mostly for forging. You should really read a bit about Ardor. If you want all the details read the NXT 2.0 overview (NXT 2.0 was rebranded to Ardor). So the question remains, should I be selling my ARDR for NXT to buy Ignis? Or should I be holding and buying more ARDR?
That depends if you want to participate in the ICO in the next rounds. If yes, then you should buy NXT, and if not, then you should tend more to ARDR as the price of NXT, probably, will fall towards the end of the ICO. You can also stay out and speculate on lower NXT prices after the end of the ICO, buy NXT for a lower price and then participate in the snapshot.

I am informing myself about Ardor because it is a very promising project in my eyes. I am a little bit confused about the Ignis snapshort. I bought some Ardor tokens and I would like to know when the snapshot for Ignis will be? Is there something like a roadmap?

This seems to be the current roadmap: https://www.jelurida.com/ardor-roadmapSecond place on Google when searching for "Ardor Roadmap" The exact date for the Ignis snapshot is not known. In the roadmap, "Q4" is announced. In October the ICO ends, so it will be most likely in November or December.

Diversity is a key to a winning crypto-portfolio. It reduces potential risk, coming from pump - dump that frequently happens in the forks realm. Besides, Ardor is great innovation itself with the potential to become the leading crypto platform.

Nice price for Ardor now, BTC rising and we can see a correction on ARDR and very good buy opportunity before the platform relese. Time to buy and hold Ardor, autumn will be hot.

I agree. Ardor especially! It should be in and around the top 20 at least. When it goes live I'd expect Ardor to go to $0.50 or $1 as a minimum. If more people begin using it and adopt the sidechains it backs then it should hold that valuation.

consider ARDOR as the network, and IGNIS as the native currency in that network

Here is some ARDOR related stuff. There is an IGNIS token presale at heatwallet.com which is backed up by Heat Ledger Ltd NXT holdings. The token is tradable and can be withdrawn soon after the Ardor/IGNIS blockchain is released. Heat Ledger Ltd is dropping affordable batches, for more info visit getignis.com.
