Hey Doulon! Our marketing is well underway now. Our marketing manager and myself have contacted Youtubers and other social media influencers directly - some of these have grown into digital meetings and some of those have flourished into a promising partnership.

Along with this, we're currently waiting for Facebook and Twitter to green light our social media adverts which should happen sometime soon. Additionally, we have a number of articles written up and awaiting release.

As for the cards, if all goes to plan we expect to have an official and complete release by the end of this year/start of next. We're incrementally rolling out our services until that day comes so it is likely we'll release the card prior to the complete release as part of our roll out.

According to BusinessCloud, Daniel Daychopan, the CEO of FinTech firm Plutus has spoken out about Bitcoin, discussing how mainstream adoption will be important for the progression of the currency and that importantly, it could potentially have a big impact during Brexit too. Daychopan says:

Plutus Weekly Update - 03/09/2018

Welcome to the first September installment of our Weekly Report.

Our loyalty reward tokens Pluton (PLU) are already moving through Plutus Tap & Pay and the PlutusDEX. Initial orders are being filled and our community is getting acquainted with the app itself. Despite a few mild hiccups, all critical aspects of the platform are performing perfectly.

From Crypto to Your Bank - Right Away

If you have missed the previous update, you can now buy crypto on our very own PlutusDEX, as well as sell small increments of crypto via Plutus Tap & Pay for Android/iOS.

When selling cryptocurrencies, the funds will be added to your bank account. All you need is the Plutus Tap & Pay app and your European bank account (with SEPA support).

User Experience

We are currently working on perfecting our user interface and creating supporting collateral for our proposition. We have a wide spectrum of digital activities that are working well. App downloads are increasing on daily basis, and our guides are progressing nicely.

Marketing Team

Let’s extend a warm welcome to our new interns, content writer Marcus, and Mayova, our social campaign producer. Over the coming weeks, we will be ramping up on all social activities with scaling of our marketing team. Stay tuned.

Development Updates

All systems ready. It’s showtime. Below you will find our tech progress for the week:

-A major infrastructure upgrade is in progress. We are migrating to Kubernetes clusters, which allows us to scale better and provide high availability of our resources.

-We migrated our frontend to GraphQL and implemented real-time subscriptions. This is currently being tested internally.

-Integration with our new cards issuer is going well. We have received access to the sandbox, started testing their API and planning architecture changes accordingly.

As we are going to scale in the coming months, we have made community support one of our top priorities.

Our new Telegram channel PLUTUS COMMUNITY is intended for discussions around anything related to Plutus as well as Pluton. This channel is public, and anyone is welcome to join. You could also call it a “general discussion” channel.

The existing Plutus channel will now be used for support, new updates, as well as an introduction for new members. If you have any questions, or difficulties using the app, this is where to get help!

We addressed the topic of our exchanges in our weekly report on the 11th of September:

What is the strategy regarding exchanges, and how much is the exchange listing budget？

Due to tier 1 exchanges asking for $3–8 million to list, we feel this budget is better spent on our product and external promotion, as this will drive a greater brand proposition that is not based on external exchanges.

Several large exchanges are eager to see the complete version of features on the Plutus platform before listing. However, we are confident that we will be able to ramp up token awareness when we are close to a full release of our service offering.
