Be careful, issues have been reported with the new miner (spawning unlimited subprocesses)
And how to solve the problem?

interesting coin. does anyone know what's the advantage to use SHA224 as opposed to SHA256? Is it just a similar algorithm? or the dev choose it because it has some technical advantages?

The mining problem was caused by an issue in pyinstaller --onefile combined with multiprocessing. The issue is now fixed. Please re-download at https://github.com/hclivess/Bismuth/releases/tag/1.22

Hi, I picked SHA224 because it was well documented. I've been thinking about switching to KECCAK / SHA-3, but not a priority at the moment.

I have identified a server restart design error from the early days, which causes the node to restart every time there is a disconnect. Working on a fix now, this should allow for exponential scaling.

Thanks, forgot to post that. Also, I will now work on database capacity improvements, which is the layer under the now pristine network communication. This will greatly improve mining speed for slower computers, and increase mining cycles at no power expense. This is one of the longterm goals - Extreme Blockchain Compression, for short EBC. 2,1480087420.86,8927be930a50dad85bddd1c59b947b4cd4e2ae55e3d56cb0e094b2b2,5,5.0,JIMdVDrDA3+cwCEqiEy640vHsaap9OiMZGgg/rSrXVXyx4DdT1ftMtFI90r7WJdoVmudclTpC6c8ozTXxgi2C9mwrH2wkXHRrbDEDXa912r8NWEPsGCJoSNwyMs7gU1auUYls5aTatereYsaEryq+uWHq17GIXpB44CeiAenAbo=,LS0tLS1CRUdJTiBQVUJMSUMgS0VZLS0tLS0KTUlHZk1BMEdDU3FHU0liM0RRRUJBUVVBQTRHTkFEQ0JpUUtCZ1FDcGx0VTlia1Znd0U3THZvNnE5WFV0TUtmaApjRlc3YkpuN1pQVCtBRXNUK3dzMnJDSmpNTXUxVm9WQ085UlN3dVpvaUoyK0g1S01FNXJUc3B0MXFOS1VhK3BqCmZYdU84bGpSZ004aDViSzhUTTlxVEE3ZUs4OXd2UCtVb0NTeWNNZUpXTHIyUHM2MERmeUlEM29UQ0tMSDdHSUEKckdISWkvcllzN3ZlYndjMU53SURBUUFCCi0tLS0tRU5EIFBVQkxJQyBLRVktLS0tLQ==,892cb226ecb7390bffaa55b373f410b88326a78fea608a3554ab6bb2,1,0,0,NQ== 685 bits will turn into 272 relational notation: 2,1480087420.86,500,5,5.0,JIMdVDrDA3+cwCEqiEy640vHsaap9OiMZGgg/rSrXVXyx4DdT1ftMtFI90r7WJdoVmudclTpC6c8ozTXxgi2C9mwrH2wkXHRrbDEDXa912r8NWEPsGCJoSNwyMs7gU1auUYls5aTatereYsaEryq+uWHq17GIXpB44CeiAenAbo=,500,892cb226ecb7390bffaa55b373f410b88326a78fea608a3554ab6bb2,1,0,0,NQ== this will increase the current capacity by 251%

I am announcing that the next release will include - fees being given back to miners - variable difficulty with 1 block retarget, aiming at 1 minute blocks - ZircoDice code, which is the first decentralized application code, anyone will be able to run their own casino You can study the ZircoDice code here: https://github.com/hclivess/Bismuth/blob/master/zircodice.pyDecentralized casino programming took about 90 minutes and resides on ~84 lines of code, that's what is meant by easy integration Experimental testnet settings: Max bet: 1000 Payout: 2x Chance to win: 40%

https://github.com/hclivess/Bismuth/releases/edit/1.34Fees are paid to miners Mining difficulty is variable ZircoDice + ZircoDice web (need to generate separate keys) OpenLedger Data is now paid for by length/100
These changes are reflected in GUI
New mining diff adjustment mechanism

HCLivess is there an estimate for mainnet ?
Hi, I need to make ordinal logarithmic hashing for difficulty and secure the rollback, but I think it might be months away because I'm away the whole February

HCLivess is there an estimate for mainnet ?
This one gave some old nostalgia on the testnet, mind must be getting forgetful & or this is like 2010-2012 all over again (actually the crypto note coins really had that 2010 feeling to start as well)? That bug logo kinda tells the story of testing this one, not quite the simple 2017 were heading into for easy to use GUI / plug & play interfaces. The cryptonote didn't have the perfect GUI's either in the start, nothing in software has & expecting everyone to learn command line just isn't going to happen. Don't git me wrong, learning from the basics is recommended & not always bad. Learning with things that could have possible value is one of lifes many lessons, make mistakes with this & learn very quickly to make backups often.

When the mainnet? For the testnet is some reward or something?

+1. When you plan to launch the mainnet? not sure about rewards though - either bismuth or clarity or one network maybe in the end. would be hard to keep two networks.
