Only if you are sure about the fact that you can make profit with the bitcoin its worth selling your stocks otherwise you should not do it because it will than be too risky for selling and buying right now.
Choose a wise moment too it will be very important.
It is better not to sell the stocks if the stocks can still make you profit. But invest in bitcoin is also a good choice. With all that has happened in 2016, I suppose big economies are gonna face a slowdown. BTC may be the better investment medium once that happens. |

Selling stocks is not a wise decision, because none is sure of the price increase and decrease. But with stocks we can research particularly and can make very closer prediction regarding the rise and fall. So when one is sure to switch to bitcoin from stocks, its better have some stocks left and use the remaining for the investment into bitcoin.

Hindsight is always in need of sunglasses, i guess. I probably wouldn't have sold anything at the time op posted this, and that probably wouldn't have been wise. The stock market is doing great, but i think bitcoin did much better (am I right?). Always bet on btc. Always.

Like other said selling stock is not a good decision for now bitcoin is stable at the price of 720-745 and i think this price will longer stay.. unless after this year or this 2017 january.. we can not know if the price of bitcoin will go down soon.. so for me in my own in order to make profit if you have many bitcoin stock you can sell half of it so that if the price will increase more soon you can still sell the rest to get more profit if not instead the price will decrease you can buy new bitcoin and safe your profit..

Honestly if you really want to earn more profit save that for long lasting and wait for the price of bitcoin become $1000 dollars let's hope that in this year or next year the bitcoin price will be more expensive  Save that so far the bitcoin price is quite good but not to time to sell bitcoins. |

Selling stocks can be so good, I did it once and it was very profitable but if you than invest it into the bitcoin is in my eyes way too risky..

I am playing in a tax free account so my gains I don't have to pay taxes. I believe in both. What kind of stocks did you have? If you don't mind, I'm just curious. Yeah sell you stock to buy more Bitcoins because Bitcoin is the better investment of the two if you really want to make money.
You will have to be patient with Bitcoin but that does not matter because you are going to make money.
Yeah bitcoin is unpredictable and also the price of bitcoin is increase because its always depends in demand and supply.. block halving is coming and our supply will be decrease more and i think we are also increasing population using bitcoin so the price should be rise more price will come in the future and more people are using bitcoin.. If the block size is 2MB or higher, and the transaction confirmation is faster, there will be more users. I prefer to keep both of it, I think you know more than enough to decided buy or sell. as it already done, how is it going/results? |

I am more of a moderate-risk type of investor and would rather put my investments in different forms, so that in case something happens in one or more of my investments, the losses wouldn't be that big. That's what I have been doing for a few years now and so far it has given me good to average returns.

I am the one who always very conscious on choosing the investment vehicles yet I prefer to go bitcoin with more percent with my investment portfolio. The continuously rising bitcoin prices are simply justifying it. I am more of a moderate-risk type of investor and would rather put my investments in different forms, so that in case something happens in one or more of my investments, the losses wouldn't be that big.
But I do feel bitcoin is an exceptional investment opportunity in long run basis. It is like we are getting another round of Coca-Cola company's IPO. Only old veteran people knows the potential of those stocks, if you believe into bitcoin you can take more risk with this, I do not find any breaching of investment rules. |

Selling stocks is maybe not the best thing you can do but if you can make profit it will be worth it, its depending on the bitcoin price and the stockings you have invested in. Take a look on those alts price right now i think they where not profitable at this moment price for those one are so low and doing trades with them.are surely so risky thats why i would rather prefer to sell my stocks and change it to bitcoins since i can earn more money by just staking bitcoins, and surely the surge will continue and i will not doing trades before that and surely i will comeback to the scene when i see the price is sustainable. |

i wouldnt be so quick to invest in oil when the world is turning to electric vehicles ,oil might go sideways for a long time because there is no shortage of it anymore..... I wouldn't go for oil for a long haul, for certain. The rate at which alternative energy is proliferating is outright astonishing. |
