I am using wallet 4.0 and it has been working great until the last week, staking coins. It will not stay synced and the wallet will lock up, freeze when you click on it.
I can get the wallet to sync without my wallet.dat file in my app data folder and then I was able to get the wallet to sync after adding my wallet.dat file but this morning it is once again out of sync.

It seems that Akaiito is now fully focused on building what must be built. Although the project encountered some technical problems, but they will be able to be a good solution.

My wallet will sync and stake, but when I click on the wallet it will say not responding so I am not able to go into the console and check the block. I am sure my wallet is on the correct chain or it would never sync or would it stake coins.

No need to worry about that.

It's quite usual in cryptospace and it's because there is part of the code that the antivirus think is not safe  (bitcoin-miner)

Most of the antiviruses (62/63) are not pointing that as a warning anymore, but seems there is one still doing it

If you are seriously worried about the security of your computer and the data stored on it, I recommend that you use a virtual machine or a sandbox to download and run all suspicious files and applications.

So, looking into this more, I believe it is on the correct chain, although, according to the debug.log, the wallet seems to be struggling to keep up with the newest block.  It doesn't seem to ever catch up to the newest block, it is behind by 3 to 5 blocks.  As soon as I lock the wallet, it runs flawlessly and keeps up with the current/correct block instantly.

Ran for 2 hours while locked and stayed on the correct block all the way
Unlocked and wallet started locking up almost immediately - backed up wallet.dat - implementing the bootstrap
