Does anyone know the staking rewards over time? Will there always be 808% rewarded every year? When does the staking end and is it constant?

as long as inflation is not too high i guess it will continue to be 808%.
as it happen with other pos coins, they always reduce the reward after too many coins have been circulated.

this is why its great time to join the train while things are doing great.

Just got done combining all my 808 coins into 2 large blocks as I had some small amounts that were going to take forever to earn a stake so I combined them all into a 100k block. Also loaded up on another 65k which now puts me over 700k total so only 300k from my target, once these blocks start earning stakes I think I'll be there in no time. I'm now hoping to reach 1 million by the end of the month.

i combine all my coins into 1 single block and in this way it stake almost exactly after 8.08 days.

price is stable at 20 sat. hope this will be the new floor for the next months. i think it can drop till 15 sat. even if it will happen it`s a great level that we can leverage it to highest price. slowly but surely.

i just hope that there will not be a massive dump in the next months once everyone will stake lots of coins and search for their way out for quick profit.

as i see it, i never sold any of my 808 coins. i did it only when they were stuck at poswallet but after that i was able to buy even more of them at cryptopia.

Thanks for the tip mate, well currently I'm waiting on a few more blocks to mint and then I think I'll combine them all into one big block as then it will be around 750k in one block which I'm certain will for sure earn a stake 8.08 days or maybe a day after. Once I get to 1 million I might think about spliting 250k into 4 blocks as then I could earn a couple of days in a row?

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

I've transfered some 808 coins from topia to my wallet yesterday. Still haven't received them.

Transaction ID: 6461c19ab5268b4adf2130248fd1f58712c331c21e1db6a955b6b17127421212

Anyone can help me with this? Thanks in advance

(8 active connections and 808.config already up to date)

This is my wallet address 8QoLNdRHxyi8HAgegMCfXbrzVgE6AE8wru

Coins should be there, but I guess the blockchain syncs to fast so there must be an error because I can't see the coins in my wallet altough its showing me it has synced already.
Need help pls

its depend on your strategy, if you would like to cash out every few days than splitting your coins to few blocks is a good way to handle it as you could stake every few days in a row. however if you plane to hold all your coins for the long run, lets say a year than it is better to put all of them in one block (the is a limit of 2 billion coins per a block).

staking 250k coins will take you around 11 days so its 365/11=33 stakes per a year.
staking 600k-750k coins will take around 8 days so its 365/8=45 stakes per a year.
now 45-33= extra 12 stakes per a year, each stake worth 17% than you gain more 204%.

anyway i keep on holding my 808 coins and will continue to buy more as currently there are not much pos coins that pays this rewards.

cool Smiley hopefully this coin will continue to climb up.

60 satoshi is still not enough for me to sell my coins  Grin

i know other pos coins with a higher inflation rates, pumped to 100 sat - 400 sat for few months so there is still long way to go.

My strategy is for the long term just like you and most of us loyal supporters here so after my next big block of 500k stakes I'll then start to combine them all into one big block as the break down you have provided does show that I would earn a lot more over the long run then what I'm currently doing. The only problem is that sometimes we don't always stake like last night I got 2 generated but not accepted which was a shame as both were 19k stakes, so that is my only concern with trying to stake with one large block of say 700k coins or 1 million coins as there is no guarantee that we will stake but I guess that's with all pos coins lol.

Hey, I think i messed up my wallet trying to add more nodes to the 808.conf file.
when I start the wallet I get this message:

A fatal error occured. 808 can no longer continue safely and will quit.

EXCEPTION: 11DbException
Db::open: Invalid argument
808 in Runaway exception

Any ideas on what to do?

back up your wallet.dat

latest version of 808 does not need more nodes added to the .conf. 808 now has nodes built into the code, one is a dedicated node on aws. However you can still add more nodes if you like.

Dl latest 808 let it sync then import your wallet.dat

Yes it's very worth while as the staking rewards are great depending on how many coins you are staking and now that the price is rising it's very profitable to stake 808 coins. I staked 20k last night which was a nice surprise as I wasn't expecting a stake.

Has anyone contacted Coinmarketcap to add Novaexchange to the markets where 808 coin is traded? Once this is added it might help increase the volume on Nova and also raise the price of 808.

On another note I should hopefully get a nice stake in the next couple of days as it's been a while since my last stake and this one if for my 500k block so I'm hoping it will be a nice stake if I'm lucky enough to get one.

Loaded up on another 50k 808 coins today which now puts me at 775k and I have a large block of 520k ready to mint in a day or two so I can't wait for that. The price is still holding steady in the range of 20 to 30 sats which is great to see as it shows there is some support for this coin. Still the market cap is just over 200k so there is a lot of room to move for a coin with just under 400 million coins currently circulating.

Is this coin still Staking? Does the difficulty level affect the 808% or is it constant percent return?

Yes still staking, no diff level does not effect the 808% rate, yes constant return. Use larger blocks to take advantage of compounding, smaller blocks can take longer to payout.
