If the Bitcoin is illegal in your country then I suggest you to don't Hold Bitcoins because it can be a disaster for you if the Government knows that you are using Bitcoins.....
WTF who care? the government will not be able to do anything to you. they would not even know that you are a user of bitcoin?
What evidence if you bitcoin user? no one can deny it. bitcoin is anonymous and there will be no intervention on it.

If I were in your shoes, I would just hold and keep earning. Just don't use it for now if your government says it is illegal. Sooner or later, it is going to be legalized because they would find ways to regulate it. By then, you should have amassed a great amount and you would be ahead of the rest who were too afraid to have bitcoins.

Bitcoin would be the perfect cryptocurrency to be declared the only legal tender very soon.

As i am from country where bitcoin is stated to be a illegal currency so, its ok to earn form small services and signature campaign here and hold my bitcoins ?
I need some suggestions ?
I love bitcoin and i can't leave it !

I think holding bitcoin is not ilegal, but as you mentioned for your country considers bitcoin illegal. then the holding bitcoin is illegal you do. My advice stay away from bitcoin, because you will be caught in the law for violating state regulations. Thank you

to be frank that bitcoin is anonymous, so if your country stated bitcoin as illegal. you need more protection like surfing into the web with proxy especially when you access the bitcoin thing, i don't really know why the bitcoin stated as illegal. someone with bitcoin can't be look so easily in the community and they just keep like an ordinary people like it does

You just said It's Illegal how holding them will be legal  Huh

I personally wouldn't care much If it was illegal , I would keep using it. (doesn't mean you should do the same though)
Also what country is that ? Russia is the only one who banned  Bitcoin for real I guess ?
Yeah i am from Nepal and the central authority of our country has stated any trade works or any businesses held using bitcoin will be strictly punished
Sad so i am little afraid of holding my coins too ! that's all..

If your government tells you it's illegal then it's illegal and I'm very sorry that there are still such terrible places. I don't know what I would do being in your place, but first of I would be very cautious. Do not tell to people around you that you are using Bitcoin and do not try to exchange it for another currency until it becomes legal again (which I'm sure will happen in the future). Good luck!

Wether it is legal or not, still no one know ho you earnedn it. So I think there's no issue at bitcoin at all because people earn bitcoin both legally and illegally.

I've got to know about some of the countries where holding bitcoin is illegal but most of the country it is legal so
the domination of bitcoin over the world is much more and in one way or the other people has found the way to hold the
bitcoin despite of legal affairs in thier country.

It is not illegal to hold BTC but trading with some countries is illegal, like US, UK, China etc. However, BTC is anonymous and you just need to hide your ip and transact with BTC. I wish you good luck.

Earning BTC is like earning money from any business. Wont you accept money if that comes out of business you do. Same thing. What we do here is earn BTC and use them as we do with our currency. If you love to earn and save money or do whatever you want to do, go ahead and do with BTC. Earn it and use them. If your government is not allowing you to use the BTC in your country, then exchange that into your currency and use them.

Apparently, it depends on where you live. Some countries, like North Korea and Russia, aren't so friendly towards Bitcoin. It certainly would be illegal to hold Bitcoin in one of these jurisdictions, under certain circumstances.

I think it would be okay and theres nothing wrong if you are holding a bitcoin even if its illegal from your country . But you should be careful for that don't even let anyone know in your country that you are holding a bitcoin because you said it is illegal you would be considered as a criminal because of that , I guess .

You could argue that if the government really, really cared they would be able to track your ip and connect you to your Bitointalk.org account on this website assuming you logged in through conventional means, and if they see you're part of a signature campaign they could see that you earn x amount of Bitcoin for x amount of posts, connect the dots and probably figure out what Bitcoin wallet you own, if you use the same address constantly.

There is some evidence, but it requires probably more resources than it is worth.

i think the question is about the that if bitcoin is legal in your country or not. is bitcoin earning in your country is legal or not. i my country there is no statement from the government side about bitcoin. so i cannot say any thing about it. i think it may not be legal because bitcoin is not accepted in our banks or by any other government department.

iI too have not heard about btc from any media or from any source. i came to know about this from my friend. it is not illegal to earn btc. its like other currency. Earn when you have chance. Save what you have earned. SHARE about btc to your friends so that they too experience the benefits of btc.
