I think both is necessary for trading like Luck will give you opportunities and skills will be the one to make your trading successfull. But relying on luck is a pretty bad thing in trading

For me skills is much important mostly when you already have experience in trading . in trading not all people are lucky to pick some coin and have profit for buying and selling it many newbie  buy accidentally a shit  coin couse  don't have enough knowledge what is good and what is bad to buy. If you already have skill and enough knowledge it's easy fot you to buy and sell.

In my opinion is skill because on trading there are many method who must be used, and they must be learned  until we can make profit rutine. Although trend of market is going down, the profesional traders always make profit.

But in some cases the professional traders is always hope there can get the best moment in the trading and at this time they can get a profit, maybe if there are a professional trader if he doesn't get a best moment or luck he will always losing a chance to making some profit in that's moment.

i agree, but buy and hold can also mean long term investment with analyzing the situation, which has nothing to do with luck but it is more like using your skills to predict the market in a longer period of time.

although i am not denying the effect of luck in every decision that we are making in trading even if we use our skills.

with "buy and hold" I meant "hold whatever happens". If you analyzed for a longterm investment you will continue to analize your position even in the short term. in my definition this is not buy and hold. I can buy something longterm but go out of it short term because in my continuous analysis the longterm outcome changed.

I will agree this bro. We need to special skillset like identifying the right person have trade,  using escrow system have a trustful trade, need good amount of investment is also need for the good trade and we need to have some good luck in price chart with zigzag means a good trader can make good profit by that.

for me luck is also a big point in playing trading. because at any time the price may change quickly. when we are lucky then we can get a satisfactory result. skill and luck are inseparable.

Like me , i'm usually check the info about coins i want to invest , but after i invested my bitcoin the price is dump hard and unfortunately i must hold my bitcoin for longer time , maybe that's my bad day.

You can only win in trading in luck if the coin you set it to sell order then accidentally some one pump it .you do not realise that the price is in pump and your now in profit most of the time you will lost in luck only, in skills you can have profit daily trading with many altcoin a lot of experience needed but you can earn in daily trading.

Beside of skill for searching the profitable coins , you also need luck to choose the right coins . there are no skills involved in finding the right altcoins. you solely depend on luck when you put money into a certain altcoin, no matter how much "research" you have done.

altcoin prices such as bitcoin prices are difficult to predict, so we really need luck as well.
but if a someone who is an expert at least they know which direction the movement would go, let alone those who have a lot of bitcoin could toying price.

I wouldn`t say that luck is a factor in trading.Luck is a factor in gambling.

You need skills that will help you  predict where the market price will go.

Technical and fundamental analysis of markets is very important.
