how to get the account and wallet back on a fresh install ?
ofc i still have the backup folders

Instructions are in the FAQ on main site (migrate data after new install) https://lbry.io/faq/backup-dataThanks that did the Trick. But there is still room to improve the Wallet migration and make it much easier than this. Not everyone is able to juggle with 3 hidden Folders to restore his Wallet. Just sayin |

In their marketing material LBRY claims 90% of teens watch YouTube regularly...
So checking out the beta it's like YouTube for middle aged people with no taste...
You subtract music, movies, interviews, historic clips from YouTube you got nothing.
What's the point of having a blockchain if you are streaming pablum?
At least BAT is kind of addictive because you see a breakdown of all the sites you visit.

Agree others competitor only had either prototype product or rushed product. In my opinion, LBRY platform is the project that had steady development and massive community. |

Based on daily volume there should have been an increase in LBRY coins as well. But it makes part from some projects of which price didn't grew up back after most of the markets recovered from last months dramas. This indicates one thing and that is consolidation and wait for right moment to see this happening again.

Could be one of the possibility. In my opinion, a single big news will trigger it then LBRY will get good uptrends movements. |

Yes this is finally time for some big news, because lbry is boring so much. Six months already there is no big news and price constantly fall, or in hibernation...
There is so much github activity, but nothing important, app is almost the same like it was before half of a year and there is no marketing after all, I can't understand their tactic.
They are constantly telling us that working hard, but development of app and platform is too slow and no noticeable results.

I downloaded the app for MAC, but all the video takes forever to "connect" and then i get some random error or they lag, and i watch video with no problem on youtube i have a 200Mb connection.
Is that normal ? anything i can do to fix the problem ?

Lol face fact,who fork lbry to implement this super protocol ? please I see at least 20 different coin working to integrate IPFS ''prototype'' and give a long term fonctionnality plan.but you guys just stick on app app app like there's just stupid app thats matter which is not the case at all. lbry Is fully corporative, just camping premine and wait for pigeon to post video and after say how you change the world yeah right.
