LBRY is a sleeper coin, its making good progress while the price is quite low, But one thing to be ware of is the recent trend of 51% attacks, as the hash rate is quite low it is not costing a lot to attack low cap coins and steal the funds. Hope the team is aware of any such potential threats that can arise because of the recent trend of such attacks across PoW coins
Surely they are aware, but with these attacks isnt the only party at risk is this exchanges? if they dont require enough confirmations then the attacker could double spend? there would have to be a fork too right?

Guys, I would like to upgrade LBRX to the latest version but it is only for 64bit Windows. So I have installed a new virtual machine with 64bit windows but how should I move it. Is it even possible? I have tried to follow the FAQ (link below) but it does not work. Can someone help me please? Thank you very much Gee https://lbry.io/faq/lbry-directories I will DM you a preview build of our redesign that supports 32 bit. Or you can follow those backup-data instructions shared earlier to transfer all your files/wallet.

Unfortunatelly it is not working. The daemon have encoutered an unexpetcted error, or another daemon instance is running. The computer was restarted. Should I install the newest 64bit version or try it with the same as 32bit and the upgrade?

Last year I had the experience of watching this coin closely and I will tell you that I was very surprised when the coin fell very much in price. And for a long time was in sleep mode. This year, I look is rare, because the coins now appears very much and it is very difficult to follow all.

Could be one of the config files that you copied over. Log: https://lbry.io/faq/how-to-find-lbry-log-file

LBRY will undergo a hard fork on 7/9/2018. It won't change anything for most users, but miners will need to make some changes - read this post for all the details https://lbry.io/news/hf1807

Head over to https://lbry.io/faq/different-ipfsAnd Jiggytom has some words for it. IPBC is web based + uses IPFS which relies on other hosts. LBRY is probably the most decentralized and community driven (open source) of the content sharing projects. We hope to have a web based version of LBRY later this year/ early next year to provide an easier, web based access to users who don't want the full decentralized experience in app.

Web based version should be high on the list... its easy for adoption if it was available easily over the net, instead of going though a separate app. Good to know that is is being planned for now
