@everyone We're happy to announce an update to the LBRY Desktop app - version 0.23! It includes LBRY Protocol 0.20.4 which brings additional availability improvements (especially for longer running sessions). The daemon is now also digitally signed, so we should see less false positives on antivirus.

Main new features/changes:
 1) Channel caching + speed improvements (navigating between channel pages + claims should be much faster now)
 2) Thumbnail preview in Publish
 3) STL/OBJ (3d file) support and PDF preview
 4) NSFW setting required for community top bids (short term fix for mature content on the homepage)
 5) Abandon claim transactions now show in wallet history (when you revoke a claim/channel - the LBC that's returned)
 6) Suppress download fail errors if you leave the claim page (i.e. watching another video)
 7) Emoji text support for claim description
 8 ) Autoupgrade won't leave behind setup files anymore

Tired of bullshit, 2 years of chantage...

this coin is not decentralized at all,but hyper centralized just like youtube lol;

blockchain protocol 'lbry' does seems to only store a key (from the data allow for each block)that activate the 'blobs' on network(chunck of 2mb data),most of this data is centralized into an internal core server hosted by lbry only(which user have no power to keep it alive or not for most of content since no incitative to download and store everything people upload(P2p is so old technology,remember emule or edonkey ? ya its dead.in other term data is not store on blockchain,but just a key, SO you need an centralized server for data in order to activate the 'decentralized keys') Premine is centralized funding, no concensus so entire decisionnal power is centralized too. Development is close source too,unless you are into core team you can't reasonably develop lbry, so again centralized,centralized and centralized.

Whats decentralized about this coin except what you copy paste from bitcoin (also delete some part to make it centralized and give you 100% control power, wow, so in other term you just keep the blockchain+(mining) as the only decentralized 'feature'(yeah its not a feature on 99% of other crypto but something very standard))?

next step having moderated forum and kick everyone who make your shilling a hard time cause its all bullshit in the end and we just make a bunch of looser living the great life with holiday and everything without worried on top of investor/user money. LBRy is just another pyramid to be honest

They really need to work on marketing and poaching youtubers but I am guessing devs want to have fully functional product before taking a shot at the big league . Anyway we are going for a long run and with crypto world expanding and showing stability we could see lbc in top 10 coins.All that is left for us is to increase our bag by trading on 2-5% coin price oscillation

But why would youtubers come to this platform? Big youtubers makes good money and why would they start from the bottom again? It's great idea but I think it will be hard to get users because youtube is just youtube. Everyone knows youtube, people make good money on it, why would they go to other platform?

How the %?&*(* they compare themself with youtube when they are EXACTLY build the same way as business,over same law,same country ? there's ZERO chance to see lbry overtake youtube this way. as far as I can see LBRY does a good job in term of openness for the non mined credit. they also give a quarterly report about it. and the community also does feel about it.
