What caused the price to go up suddenly?

Its hard to point to a specific event, but I am guessing its a combination of youtubers upset with youtubes policy moving over to LBRY. I also notice some people trying to hype LBRY by making sure their videos show up on the trending page of LBRY by using large sums of LBRY to make sure their content is discovered. Lbry is a pretty cool platform and the continued improvements that have been made to the platform over the years will speak for themselves.

Hi it's just now that LBRY is getting my attention but I notice that the videos are lagging I have the desktop version installed I'd like to know more about LBRY, I believe it's the next big thing in video sharing compared to other platforms here.

I just tried uploading and watching videos on the LBRY platform and surprised that my earnings are not what I expected this coin has a good potential only 4 years but many people are now coming in and transferring their channel from Youtube or creating their channels,
since I have time and bandwidth I just created a forum for this project, hope those who are already in LBRY as a content creator will come in and

What's surprising is that I got 0 earnings from my content (it could be at least 0.01 or 0.1) but still I got some LBRY as rewards for watching, followers

I think that LBRY could profit from having someone updating their thread here in bitcointalk. I recently made an account there and I have to say that it is one of the few projects that I didn't hear first from bitcointalk. Not that people aren't talking about it but if there was consistent and constant activity in this forum I would have noticed it earlier.

Definitely THEY should be active here! I know there is few more popular platforms, but bitcointalk is still biggest cryptocurrency message board, so devs should pay attention to update members, too!

Yes, people can tip you LBC for your videos. The Lbry team also pre-minned some 100million coins or something for giving away and helping LBRY grow. On lbry.tv they give away some of these I take it for you being active there.

One big guy, EEVBLOG, talking about electronics, says he gets more on LBRY than on Youtube nowadays too (at least per watch).

LBRY will end lbry.tv and concentrate on odysee. The reason is that some people are confused. LBRY is much more than a better youtube.

I don't see it will be implemented anytime soon, noting the H.256 licenses are strict and it will be limiting cross-browser compatibility. The problem is on the browser compatibility rather than on Odysee.
