Is LBRY still rewarding content creators?
If so, then by buying LBRY we essentially support those content creators, right? It seems that market is not really liquid tho.

Any comments on recent censorship towards Russia? Facebook and BBC are now unavailable in Russia (it's probably a blessing tho), but people might want to seek for the alternatives. Is Odysee/LBRY viable alternative service for Russians?
I think the answer to your question is kind of. If a content creator makes good content, they will receive tips from users. Furthermore, through various advertising arrangements, premium memberships and other features due out this year or next, serious revenue sharing systems with content creators will start to happen.
Technically speaking, yes, if you bought a currency they were tipped with you'd indirectly support them. Tipping any amount would also get there as well. Tipping a content creator 0.1 cents or 2c or whatever can be a very nice gesture and something that's impossible on YouTube presently. The market is highly illiquid though as you mentioned.
Personally, I'm a free speech advocate. More speech is better than censorship. The LBRY/Odysee model seems like a strictly superior technology than the current big tech monopoly centralized model. How much market forces will dictate this though will be told through the course of time.
