In the desktop wallet for windows there seems to be no possibility for claiming the tokens. There is no "Claim your Heat" like in the web wallet.
Download and reinstall the latest version https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heat-ui/releases/tag/v0.1.1

Can you confirm the process for those who purchased on exchanges please?

I just deposited some ether directly since C-Cex's Eth wallet have been under maintenance for days.
I sent it with an Eth only option. It sends it through a contract which prevents replays.

Looking at your address
https://etherscan.io/address/0x4ea79a8ff56d39f5cb045642d6ce9cb0653e5e47#internaltx

The from address listed in the overview is the contract address.

In the transaction
https://etherscan.io/tx/0xc26ac8119b14e79d2da1823a2edf2a5ec4171a503ed44f4d8ade8c78fe27728c
It lists my address correctly as the from address.

As I dont know how your system is set up to check addresses, I would like to know if this is goning to be a problem?

So this looks like its an issue.

When trying to claim my HEAT, I get the message
Quote
The address you provided does not seem to participate in the ICO

I didn't have any copy and paste functionality within the desktop iMac heat wallet. Claiming the heat ico tokens was a case of manually typing addresses. Other than that it went smoothly

It should be possible in 10-14 days after the multiplier is added.

The ICO redemption process doesn't "claim" the HEAT tokens in a concrete form - it merely confirms ownership of the stakes of the ICO participants in the HEAT testnet and assigns them the HEAT accounts to be included in the HEAT genesis block. After this confirmation period is over on Oct 28-30, the HEAT genesis block is created with the initial HEAT tokens automatically distributed to the stakeholder accounts.

There'll be a clarification period of a few months for any unclaimed stakes, that are assigned genesis block accounts and held in custody by Heat Ledger Ltd until their owners are sufficiently identified.

Exchanges will each have one large stakeholder account, from which they can distribute HEAT tokens to customers who wish to withdraw HEAT from exchange accounts to real HEAT wallets. This naturally can't be done until the HEAT tokens have been created through the genesis block.

Is there a way to use a specific Address in BTC Core? I just tried to send all BTC inside Core to the "Heat Address", but this was not possible.

It is usually the first address in your wallet.
Which wallet did you send from?

One way to find out is to look up the ICO address on a block explorer and find your deposit. I dont know the BTC ICO address as it has been removed from their website after the ICO but I am sure that someone here can help with that.

You are then to send a payment from your ICO address to the confirmation address to confirm your ownership of that address. Confirmation is near instant and will be visible in the claim section.

After exiting the Claims screen, there is no where in the wallet to view status of claim made. Can you please make an online page showing accounts of all successful & failed claims?

will we need to do anything with the Open.heat on bit-shares or the Heat tokens on c-cex.com? I am guessing those will become transferable after the blockchain goes live?

You dont need to verify those as they are already bought using your account.

I am guessing those will become transferable after the blockchain goes live?
Yes after genesis they should behave like any other crypto in that regard.
