My username was listed on the SMAS Blacklist long ago because of inactive posting + I was doing an advertising campaign so my replies were pretty short. I Private Messaged and posted within yahoo62278's SMAS thread and within a day he messaged me stating that he will remove my name from the SMAS Blacklist. Now I could apply to Signature Campaigns and other bounties without the thinking about the issue of the SMAS Blacklist interfering with my application. Thanks yahoo62278.

First of all if a post is spam it should be reported to forum moderators and doing so(meaning they will get deleted if are really spam) will send a warning signal to the poster and they will know what could be seen as spam so they can improve their posting skill in the process. Secondly, when a company or service provider is paying you to post for example 50 posts a week what you need to do isn't spending 50 hours to submit them all in a constructive manner, what is needed is for you to submit 40-45 completely unrelated to that service for exposure and 5-10 somehow related to the service when opportunity presents itself. Just for example if I participate in bitmixer campaign there is no need for me to post around the forum shouting hey people come and see such greatness! what a good service bitmixer is come and enjoy hey people come on now pretty please . I used to submit 6-8 posts a day but did 3 extra in excluded sections without considering that they might seem as "burst posting" simply because I posted them at my own expense. and honestly I don't know how 10-12 posts in 3 days indicates spam or burst posting. I even tried to join another campaign(not the ones like yobit or secondstrade) to demonstrate improved quality of my posting but even after some spots were opened potentially for my rank I removed their signature because I didn't have any experience with their service(casino) and it made me uncomfortable advertising for them.
I'm not butthurt or anything since Lauda gave me a week or two for improvement, but frankly if I was warned prior to the "ban" I could then work on "improving my post quality". What I'm trying to say here, if you are a manager and see low quality posts from participants under your management the best method would be to warn them first before banning them otherwise you'll have to deal with new people every day or maybe you just want your job to be easy for you. Only arrogant and stubborn people not caring about any warnings, refusing to improve their posting habits and quality should be in a list like SMAS.

Unlike traditional signature campaigns, Bitmixer does not have a screening process for applications. In order to balance this out, there are usually no warnings (occasionally in rare cases). This is the risk that you willingly accept upon joining the campaign. Neither I, nor Bitmixer have any plans on changing this. Bitmixer seems to be extremely satisfied with the current setup and it is highly unlikely that they would make any changes to it. What I'm trying to say here, if you are a manager and see low quality posts from participants under your management the best method would be to warn them first before banning them otherwise you'll have to deal with new people every day or maybe you just want your job to be easy for you.
Not handing out warnings does in no way make my job easier. In fact, I allocate more time that I am supposed to to the campaign each week. There is a fine sum of people that have been around for a while.

I wasn't pointing fingers at you Lauda, I was reading a few of previous posts and other threads as well, I'm talking about all the managers. Are you managers giving any chance to anyone before banning them and adding them to your lists? I want to understand what is happening in your minds, clearly you have been bombarded with account farmers and alts that you feel saturated with bullshit.
When you talk about improvements and expect members to go for some time and improve their quality indicates that they need to either wear a signature for free in said time period or join another(non smas) campaign or post without a signature, that's not a proper way of dealing with this situation. if you first give a heads up and warn a member and then see no changes in their quality and posting behavior then you should add them to your lists and ban/deny them.
I want to give an example that is more understandable for a manager, what happens if someone asks you to manage their campaign but in the middle of the campaign tells you they will not paying you any more until you improve your skills and methods of managing? wouldn't you ask yourself well wtf give me a campaign to manage first to see if I'm improved or not?

The problem with your thought process is its flawed. This SMAS idea has been around quite a long time now. Users know all about it, so essentially they have been given a warning by knowing SMAS exists. Users can still enroll in campaigns as well. We arent barring their accounts from all the campaigns out there. Theyre just not gonna be in campaigns we manage. If this was a brand new forum, and this idea was just introduced then i would totally agree with your statements above.

This is off topic, but please cut me a little slack here since the well known campaign managers diverge here. Anyway I wanna ask what happens if someone breaks the rules of the campaign by taking off the sig, puts another sig, and then getting the original back on again behind the campaign manager's back? Will it depend on the manager to let it slide or is it supposed to be an automatic ban? I ask because there seems to be a situation in the Fortune Jack campaign: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1713944.220

However, it is of course the manager's decision as to what they do with a user that breaks their rules. If the manager decides they want to allow the user back in, it is their choice.

IMHO, breaking campaign rules by changing the signature has nothing to do with spam and SMAS. The user can be banned from the campaign or allowed to stay, it is up to the manager, but in both cases he shouldn't be blacklisted. Breaking the rules of one campaign shouldn't ban you from taking part in a different one.

Yes it has nothing to do with the with Spam nor SMAS but he also said that what his asking is off topic. He didn't even said that the user who've broke the rules would be blacklisted here. All he wants is to discuss the matter here since most of the campaign manager are here.

Depends on the case. In Bitmixer, you would lose your weekly payment automatically. I wouldn't even notice, and therefore wouldn't take action. In a traditional campaign I would handle it on a case-by-case basis. Quite often users are 'borderline' between being kept in the campaign and being banned. A move like this would get them blacklisted in an instant. Keep in mind that I do have a separate list for rule-breakers rather than outright undesirable posters (and/or spammers).

This is probably bad enough to warrant negative feedback. I wouldn't trust somebody who is trying to scam a signature campaign. You are effectively doing this by trying to take payment and not providing advertising.

Only apply for a 'unban/review' if 30 days have passed since your ban. If you apply before 30 days have passed, you will be instantly denied.
I hate it that random users somehow think that they are entitled to getting removed from this list. By allowing reviews we are doing them a huge favor (we could have just used the 'one-strike and done' model). The current approval rate for review requests is a tiny ~13% for me.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1661654.msg16680971#msg16680971Heres my full list. I will be adding a large update in the next week. Anyone who is on the list and wishes to have a review may contact me via PM for said review. You must have been on the list for 30 days to get a review. Anyone thinking its impossible to be removed i assure you, youre wrong. Ask Winner and Agustina2. Both have been removed as of a few days ago. Anyone on said list just need to remain active for more then a month and show sufficient quality in posting habits What's the point of having a list of users with gaps in post history? also, congrats on reaching the legendary rank

Im not disqualifying local posters from my campaigns guys. Im not saying all local posters are spammers either. I personally am about to hire 5-10 users to only post in certain local sections as requested by the owner.
What happens with alot of local board posters though, is they try to post in english sections. Its very hard to understand what some users post due to their broken english. A user who doesnt speak or type good english shouldnt be paid for their posting. It just looks terrible.
Most of the companies would love to have users posting in local sections and getting their advertisement seen by the whole world. Theyre not only looking for business from english speaking nations and theyre not discriminating.
The forum has sections outlined for almost every single language. If youre needed for a certain language then we( the managers) will post that we need xx amount of users that frequent the india board. Or whatever board we may need, but we do not need users applying for campaigns in english speaking boards from users that have very bad english.
Users want to bitch about how bad the forum looks, but when we try to make an effort to clean it up a little it seems like only more people get pissed off. Sorry but we feel our actions we are taking are correct and we will continue to try and do our part in cleaning up some of the trash.
All of you guys that seem to be butthurt over this or that happening can start placing the blame on some of your comrades. If non english speaking users or lazy english speaking users werent copypasting or looking only for a paycheck this shit wouldnt be happening.
I honestly could not agree with you more! it would be very nice to see more enforcement on this issue as it is becoming a very loud issue and it is not being considered .{or it seems like it is not being considered} would there be any possibility of making a list like many of the other lists on this thread? i don't feel it is fair to people; even non native English speakers"writers" that DO write in a comprehensible way to have to sit back and see other participants that cannot express themselves in the same language as the campaign is using. I for first,as English is a second language for me; would hope this issue does get a higher regard" , and some control regained by the managers. i could post a very long list by quotes" "... but i would fill this thread full of trash just to prove a point that is already well noted.

Excuse me! I see my name in your list. This made me really nervous, I do not know why this happened. That is really a bad thing for me, please let me know the reason why I'm here, and how I can end it. I do not want to be part of your blacklist. Please show me how to get out of it. Thanks! Regards Paul
