Crypto trading or gambling

What much profitable (less unprofitable). With same bankroll, crypto trading (ICO and other) or gambling?
I think crypto trading, but i'm never did it regular, only hold some btc. Start not so long ago and  buy augur on presale and not much other coins. And here now it seems to me, that the odds better than odds on bets or poker

Well both of it can bring income to you but on trading you will need some knowledge about it since not all cryptocurrency's price go up but on this you can gain lot of money in 1-3 weeks unlike in gambling you don't need knowledge and it can only take you 1-3days or just hours to double or triple you money but the chances here is small.

Gambling can give profitable or can give you nothing in a few minutes/hours if you want to get rich quick with gambling, but Crypto trading is more safe IMO than gambling but yes it can ended with lose some of your bankroll too.

learning both of it maybe what will i do , because we not always can do trading crypto or gambling so 1 of them will substitute the others , depends what we need

I think there is not a difference for a ROI, because you can search and hit the same return by betting low/high odds, or trading with leverage...
But the only problem arisen for fake coins, the vast majority, from ICO, wallet release, and so on.
I can't trust a match "probably rigged", how I can trust in a coin probably create ad hoc to scam funds?
I prefer to bet sport just for this reason.
Poker sites have the same problem of trust, most of the times there are some "doubts users" "platform issue" "repetitive loop"

I just started to follow cryptocurrency few months ago and so far sports betting and crypto trading seemed like at 50/50 to me. Mostly pump and dump although if you have lots of free time to study well the trends youll probably gonna earn from it. I also tried to consider joining on promising ICOs since there are good bonus already.

By the way this seemed out of topic but is there an official thread or at least an Augur speculation thread here in bitcointalk? I tried to search many time but I can only see this thread mentioning its name.

I think with the current volatile state of BTC crypto trading would have been profitable and a better value than gambling on dice. Right now Im not sure about how much more BTC will trend upwards but 860$'s seems to be a safe bet to stay stable or go upwards right now. In any case if you fins someone willing to sell for lower, It could be a good deal to buy an try to sell for a higher price.

Since in gambling we are doing analyzation then why not bring that analyzation in the world of trading which is far more worth to try. Also trading can be considered as gambling too due to the fact that we are putting money on play here and chances of losses is possible so no different if a person will do a normal gambling and playing coins in trading.

Patience really must. It's more enjoyable to enjoy the money we earned which goes in a process rather than desiring for a shortcut.

I think both are common if you are taking gambling as sports and poker betting then the same thing applies is that if you do research and analysis about a match between teams then you can get the out put of that match and earn through that bets. In crypto trading means when you are trading in altcoin it is risky as if the coin is not that worthy then you can get loss but if you are trading in Bitcoin then you have to follow some rules of buying in split so that buying price should come down and when their is rise you can immediately take profit.

Bitcoin Trading and Sports betting are same way of earning , the main key is patience

I think either of the two is good, cryto trading and gambling, because some of the gamblers use trading to get some cryptos through their money and gamble online.  Not all gamblers earn cryptos so they exchange real noney to cryptocurrency. But for me, i go for cryto trading because it is a good way to get some. Gambling is a good one though but more likely ending up losing.

I prefer gambling on sports then crypto trading only because I can study the 2 teams playing and place my bets on which team has more in their favor. With crypto trading there are too many pump and dumps in my opinion and if you are not in the know people can get burned and loose a lot of money. Same can be said for gambling but for me I prefer gambling on sports over everything else.

In opinion out these options , the Best option is cryptocurrency trading . Because in gambling we can't make much and if we made much profit in one day then at Next day we will loss every thing because this not more than gambling luck.
But in trading we can win much amount of profit through patience to wait until the price increase .

crypto-trading and gambling are closely the same when it comes to risks but if I were to choose I'll much prefer trading despite the risks there will still be a possibility to make a good profit from it while in gambling you are more likely to lose all your money because of the small probability to make a huge earning and doubling your initial deposit seems harder than we think .

Yup, indeed trading is something that is not easy to do. Because trading in the US should be able to research and predict something will happen in the future. And that's something the trials quite difficult if we can't properly concentration. But we should know, that gambling was a lot worse than we do. Because trading is something that makes our thoughts keep running and is not damaged when continuing to use it. In contrast to gambling, in it we will certainly get a loss and our thoughts will certainly be damaged
