Of course not!  It is a social networking site and anyone can post whatever, whichever topic they like.  It is our fault of course if we make awful things reflecting ourselves.  It is like you are giving people a chance to know ypu and to judge you as a human.  And you post what you like others to see you or whatnothers would think about you.  Not the real you.

What others cannot understand is Facebook is just a way for you to give freedom and post things that you know doesn't violate their rules and regulation, if you know somehow you violated it then you should expect your post and might also your account to be suspended.

Me neither ;-) it was a joke! Facebook innocent... It's completely nuts to even think to attack them... Why? 1. It's groundless and 2 they are gonna crunch their opponents under such legal power that nothing left from them will be once the best lawyers money can buy will have finished with those lunatics... Get real. Those people wanna steal one billion from the claws of the shareholders of Facebook, that's it.

How can you say so? People who agree and disagree on their statement give a valid reason why they said it. And I think this is to draw a line what should we think in facebook's responsibility.

In my opinion facebook is not responsible for the content posted by their users because of several reasons. The first reason is that the user is the one who post not them so they should not be responsible for the content posted by their users. The second reason is that since facebook is automated the posting filter is done by bots. The third and last reason is that they have the ToS, and the users must have read it and they should follow according to it. I suggest facebook though to prioritize moderation than advertisements.

They are not responsilble when it comes to freedom of the user trying to post things but they should be held responsible for a user that violated rules on his post and yet it didn't get removed by Facebook.

If you create a file sharing site (like facebook) it's very usual that owners of the site are responsible. Sometimes the owners go to jail for hosting illegal content, even if users upload it.

I think facebook is responsible for the content posted by their users because it is their website and property but we can't deny the fact that though there are admins that will monitor the posts, there are millions of users so they cannot monitor it one by one. We can help them by reporting some contents if we think there is a violation of their TOS.

Facebook and most other social networking websites have made a perfect infrastructure in their security features. The problem is with the user who without knowing the using access just makes problem.

will i do not believe that face book will have such a big role in this issue. because it is a mixture of every kind of people just posting most of their local issues. so i dont think so that face book will be responsible for that.

There is an anticonstitutionalist organization that what to make Facebook pay for what the users post on it... They believe Facebook is responsible for terrorists attacks Huh

In my opinion it is insane. Beside the assault of the second amendment there is a strong community worldwide fighting to dismantle freedom of speech too...

Anyway good luck censoring steem, synero or what ever uncensorable networks... What I fear is that once they get Facebook responsible they could then censor and make everyone hosting a node on a p2p network responsible...

nope. facebook or Mark Zuckerberg doesn't have any responsibble if the content posted by facebook users. I've ever heard in Indonesia, a man insulted mr. president and then he was arrested for a few days/weeks.

The real problem that Facebook may face in this is that they own the contents... A classical case of too much greed...

A rant should be a freedom and never be a violation, if that guy harms no one and just speak his opinion then what's wrong with that? You should also counter it with argument not a physical action.
