yes bitcoin is widely accepted in the country am from....till date
but in my country there are few areas where the shopkeepers accept bitcoin for shopping, but in most of the area people do not accept bitcoin, the reason is that in my country people have very little knowledge about bitcoin. mostly the shopkeeper have no idea about bitcoin therefore they are not accepting it, on other side the government also do not show any interest in bitcoin, they not yet legalize bitcoin not yet turn it illegal, but now the users of bitcoin are increasing hope that in future most of the people will get benefit from bitcoin.

Yeah, in Philippines (which I live). Only few shops are accepting bitcoin as payment. Since it is included in the Third World country, the people do not have that knowledge about this kind of currency and not all stores here are using automated mode of payment since they are not familiar to it. The government neither support nor permits the use of bitcoin here. They just let us do what we want. I hope they will construct a law that it may be accepted in malls or etc.. But, it is too early to assump. Since bitcoin users are wide-spread. Maybe in the future, bitcoin will be legalized here in the philippines. Come to think of it, Bitcoin is a lot more helpful to be legalized than marijuana right ? Hahah Cheesy Just some humor assumptions. Cheers ! :p
You got a point, legalizing Bitcoin In Philippines would be great and it would also be very useful to those Filipino who earn Bitcoin online. It would be very useful and gives more convenience on purchasing something either online or on physical. It's too far better than legalizing marijuana instead. Well let's wait what would be the future on Bitcoin in every country.

Not officially but yes, I can use Bitcoin in my country.
Unfortunately, only a few merchants accept Bitcoin and we have only 2 BTC ATM until now but I hope it will change soon.
Because of such situation, I mostly keep BTC in my wallet and waiting that Bitcoin becomes more popular and supported here.
It's good that we have good and professional exchange service and can easily exchange Bitcoin to local currency, and receive money directly to bank account.

well i guess it is better than to those country that consider bitcoin as illegal atleast we still have the chance to improve bitcoin service in our place. All we have to do is to protect bitcoin and use it properly so that they will start to consider this one

Hi, bitcoin users i am from the Philippines. Willing to know if bitcoin is accepted to in your country. Because right now i have used one service that allows me to pay online or shopping buy steam and load so i am wondering if bitcoin is being used or known in your country.    Huh Huh Huh Huh
In my country, I'm also in the same situation. I can only use it online or if I need to buy prepaid load from someone.
I especially hate it when someone doesn't offer my carrier's credits (e.g. Globe only)

Other than that, I'm not aware of any local usage of Bitcoin.
hahaha just seeing a lot of people in here just using bitcoin or investment and never using that for online shops and I know for using to buying online shops just applied for global shops and they're will think again about the tax they can getting for buying goods in foreign.

It is same in my country also. Bitcoins are not accepted directly by any online merchants to buy any items, but it is quite easy to convert my BTC to fiat currency and use it for my regular purchases. But this process will take some % of fee to convert currency, and I don't really like that portion.

Everyone has some sort of tax for their services, and in this instance it's a percentage fee or whatever your trading in order for the owner to make money and also cover their own costs.

I personally don't mind the fees as long as they're relatively small and don't go in excess of 1.5%, and preferably under 1%. If it goes in excess of that, unless I really need the money or it is a more complex exchange (i.e. mixer included), chances are I'll skip on it.

Bitcoin services has no fee included in every transaction but if you exchange it into fiat that is using other services that is why there is charge in your transaction, for me in my country there are few online stores, hotels, resorts and booking flights who accepts bitcoin as form of payment and if i used bitcoin directly to them i do not charge any transaction i made.

Same as the others, I can only use it online when buying load etc. and I don't know any shops that accepts bitcoin as a payment. What I'm always doing is just converting my biitcoins to flat however unlike bitcoin who doesn't have any transaction fee, converting bitcoin to flat do have so It would be really helpful if some shops accepts bitcoin as a payment

We have the same problem here. Or perhaps we live in the same country?
I'm guessing one out of 500 people know about bitcoins in here since the awareness is really low. There are already some shops that accepts bitcoins but only to a select location and it's probably just about 2-3 shops and they are about 5 hours away from me so it's never worth the effort to visit.

I know just few people who use bitcoins at the moment, on forums, and social networks people from my country are not aware about bitcoin existence, I heard for bitcoin last year for the first time, and only recently started to slowly earn some satoshis. My friends never heard for bitcoin, and I don`t know how to explain them what am I doing. I just telling that I earned few dollars with some easy tasks, but they are very suspicious about all this.

All I know that in capitol we have one bitcoin atm machine where we can buy bitcoins, but I never saw that cause I rarely go there. Its located in some restaurant lobby. I dont know how it works , cause I never had contact with something like this before.

I think if there are no shops yet that will accept bitcoin then we can easily cash out it into fiat, that is not necessary if you are not a spender, you just simply create an account at the exchange sites in your area and then cash out or if you want you can still save it for the future.
