Do bitcoin accepted in your country?

It's accepted in Serbia, i mean no one cares that much but i believe theres a restaurant in Belgrade where you can pay in btc and an atm somewhere in Belgrade, idk where exactly.

are you sure about the atm? are there any restrictions using it or something? i would like to know that and will try to research it but you might have more chance to do so, as i assume you speak the language better then me. i am thankful for more information. 

It really depends on the country that person is living in and the company behind the Bitcoin ATMs.

In some cases the government will force the companies to verify every single user the first time they use that ATM, and in some cases the company itself does it for "security purposes".

I will avoid using these ATMs at all times as you don't know what will happen with your personal information.

that is exactly why i am asking. i do not want my personal information to float around, because you never know who might get hold of it and what they might to. is there a website wich lists all the atms?

don't thing those company will going to risk their money because of fluctuation they'll need a fixed currency with stable value so they could just pay their clients with the prepared money and not going to decrease or increase the amount and getting worried because of the fluctuation to be honest

Bitcoin accepting stores here are just made for innovation like cupcake stores or coffee shops. You can also pay your bills like credit card, electricity, water bill, etc. but it still risky to do it because bitcoin is not that well known right now so you still have to convert it to cash first before paying them.

That would be awesome if bitcoin will be accepted as payment to stores and can be used to pay for bills in my country. However, I am contented as to the status of bitcoin in my country because I only use bitcoin to gamble, exchange, trade, and loan offer online and nothing more.

Not all the things we can buy with bitcoins especially when the amount involved is a considerable amount of money, sometimes we prefer to know who our transacting with to feel comfortable in transacting online, only when there is a platform that would be supported by the community to comply with the KYC policy will the transaction on online shopping will increase.

That is cool. It s being used now for many different payments including bills. I think it will be much faster so you wont need to queue everytime you pay.

You’re still lucky that your country accepts bitcoin. In my place, there are only like one or two coffee shops that uses bitcoin and they only available in the foreigners tour area. And we can hardly pay bills with bitcoin directly. We even don’t have bitcoin ATM so it’s quite difficult for bitcoin users to think about using bitcoins here.

Hey man!!! I think that's wrong to say that, you are part of the system, you are part of the Philippines government since you are here.. But anyway, lets go back to the topic, it's good that you find stores that accept bitcoin here, I haven't find any, even online stores, that is why I always resort to just converting my coins to fiat if I have to buy something.

even with bitcoin atm's and several bars and restaurants accepting bitcoin people won't direclty start using it. they are waiting for places to buy their daily needs with bitcoin. that's when people will be much more willing to start using bitcoin also as a currency instead of only as an investment tool. that aside, bitcoin atm's have quite hefty fees. so it may not even be that interesting to use them.

I agree that it will take a long time for company to adopt bitcoin as their payment for their employees salary. Maybe a decade because of some setup and rules to be made.  We all know that company takes time to decide in implementing stuff that doesnt need an urgent attention.

bitcoin in not officially accepted in my county i don't even know if they know about it or not but i and some of my friends are teaching people about it i know its not much but we are doing it

In my country, only few people that know about bitcoin and even the government here also not know about bitcoin, so i think bitcoin is still fine and maybe accepted in my country.

Same here in our country (or we may probably live in the same? I doubt it though).
There's only around a total of at most 10 stores that accept bitcoin and those stores are only found in the capital city which is about 5 hours away from me on vehicle travel. It wouldn't really be worth to go on a 10-hour drive just to see them.
