Hi all,

A quick message to let you all know that between the 24th December 2017 and 1st January 2018, CWI will be taking a break from public interaction here and Slack.

This does NOT mean we are stopping during that period, it simply means we will not be answering messages or posting for some time out from the public eye.

MANY developments have taken place in the last year. A real rollercoaster of year 2017 has been. With all that has been going on, we have done the best we can to stabilize, solidify, maintain, develop, create, organize and establish. Acquiring projects to further our knowledge and introduce a better infrastructure and ecosystem, with growth that has not been comparable to anything we have seen prior to 2017.

All this we see now, was in preparation for 2018. January 2018 we will be ready to start the release of many projects we have been working on for many months now. These include projects you are all familiar with, like our custom miner CWIgm (CWIgm-0.9.9 closed beta release in January - the last closed beta) to the backend developments you don't see but use extensively, like our custom CWI-Stratum (now named Obsidian). A great many developments in all aspects of our CWI-Project lines have been forthcoming also, such as the developments of our arsenal of CWI-Coin projects.

The full Update Post is coming, and will be a little more indepth than what I am posting now.

Until then, if we don't get the chance to do so soon, we theTEAM at CWI want to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and New Year to all, with the prospect of a very exciting 2018 ahead.

Much in store in store for 2018 and we are VERY excited Smiley

Thanks!

Thanks for all the support that everyone who take the time here and in CWI-Slack and Skype and everywhere else.
Thanks for the times we have had this year, good and bad; easy and hard; big and small.
Thanks for 2017 with all the developments, connections and positive enforcement.

We have been through a tumultuous 2017 which has prepared the path for a MASSIVE 2018. Not just for us at CWI but the community also.

MANY things have already been established, and will come to fruition in 2018. Lot's of work will come to an end and be finalized, while much will begin, while others will continue.

Have a Happy Christmas with Family in this Blessed time. We will be back (publicly) on the 1st January 2018.

NJOI!

No.

Easter is a little way off.

We are looking a little sooner than that for CWIgm-0.9.9 Wink

When official site will be start?

I think Crysx is on holiday until after the new year.

I agree, the lack of a web presence is detrimental and supporters of the project deserve something.

Without disclosing details, I was under the impression a developer, a very good developer mind you, was contracted. I know not the status of that contract, sorry. I will talk to Crysx when he returns and offer to build a presentable, yet less-feature-intensive than planned, website. Perhaps even just organized links, updates, and relevant info. This could serve until said contractor can complete or whatever matter is preventing completion can be resolved.

Not exactly 'ringing in the new year', but shortly thereafter, starting CWI off on a better 2018-foot.  Smiley

But please do not take that as a promise, announcement, or plan until I get Crysx's authorization and we work out the details (hosting and not interfering with any completed/on-going work, mostly).

Have a safe and happy New Year, everyone!

I can't wait to see the good news to come, at least with Sweepstake.  Grin

It has been a hell of a heavy 2017, I hope for a new beginning in 2018.

Happy new year!

That goes without saying. First thing first another exchange, a good one preferably.

Hi All,

The current pool server is currently undertaking some massive lag and has slowed to almost a snails pace.

We will bring the server pool mining to a pause for the time being while we do some emergency maintenance on the server itself, and update a number of core apps. The process normally takes an hour as long as no issues arise, and is long overdue. Please bear with us while we do the complete maintenance to bring the server back up to speed.

Your patience is appreciated.

Hi All,

The CWI-Pool server maintenance has now completed, and the pools are all back on line (except for BERN - which is still resyncing).

Upgrades have taken place, and the latest of our inhouse stratum Obsidian is now fully functional. Obsidian has an updated Diff engine and many other features that make it a streamlined stratum, and very slick with the mining pools. Our previous tests have proved to be quite successful in diff refactoring.

Apologies for the forced interruption to your mining, but this maintenance was well overdue, and was required.

The new infrastructure should be on it's way to functionality once again shortly, as our ISP is doing the best they can to get everything back up and running. This means we will have a full rebuild of the CWI-Pool system on new servers (hopefully) very soon. At least as soon as we can get our hands on the new servers and build the new infrastructure.

Thanks,

Thank you very much.  Great.  CRYSX. we like this coin very much.

Our pool has many coins.

Most of which we have, as well as having partner coins, and supported coins.

Our move to the new servers is hopefully going to get started shortly, as we are anxious to get it all running on the new systems as quickly as we can.

Hi All.

We have word back from BatesCryptoGroup - our ISP.

The state of their new server system is terminal, and as such, will not be brought back online. We feel for the ISP, but we need to move forward by the same token. We WILL still be working with BatesCryptoGroup with our other projects, but CWI-InfraStructure will no longer be serviced by their servers and datacenter. Which is very unfortunate, as they have been one hell of an ISP to work with, and one of the better to deal with in all aspects.

As of today, we will be allocating new cloud servers for the build of the new CWI-Pool system, which means we are aiming that by the end of next week, we should be fully functional with the new systems if all goes well. This new build is not the same as the current server build, which is old and deprecated, and will take time to setup and build. This means that the hope of 'end of next week' is a tentative time frame, and believe that this timeframe is achievable.

We have plans to eventually build our own inhouse pool datacenter, but that is a little way down the track. For now, we need to get the pool system on a new servers (four of them) and build the necessary OS, applications and backend systems, so that we can get all miners mining again on VERY responsive servers.

### CWI-COINS - NEW BLOCK EXPLORER | SWEEP

Hi All,

We are very happy to announce an addition to the suite of applications that currently exist for our coins, as we have managed to squeeze the CryptoID Block Explorer as one of those applications, with the SweepStakeCoin Block Explorer being the latest.

As many of you know, and for those that don't, CryptoID Block Explorers are one of the most comprehensive and advanced explorer systems to date. Currently, the Block Explorer for SweepStakeCoin is syncing and will take some time to fully sync.

We thank the owner of CryptoID (FairGlu) for his incredible work to date, and also for bringing us this amazing system he has designed and coded.

The new Block Explorer is currently syncing here - https://chainz.cryptoid.info/sweep/

Our other coin Block Explorers which are also on CryptoID are listed below.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/grn/
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ozc/
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/drz/
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/infx/

An update to the OP of the majority of projects CWI have running is currently being worked on also, and these details will one of the items to be updated.

Thanks,

Yes.

That is the block that the initial fork happened for SWEEP, and hundreds of thousands of orphans were circulated during the 'damage control' phase of repairing it by the original dev.

Sometimes to get past this it takes hours, at times days while it syncs. If this continues being the case, I will send a message to restart the sync to see if we can get over this.

Once this hurdle is over, it will be smooth sailing from there as far as sync is concerned.
