USA won the spain women medal as well, they are the best in basketball. Spain is the 2nd best in the world in basketball, they won the silver medal.
Spain men also deserved silver but had bad luck to face USA. I think it's a safe bet to go for a Spain win for bronze medal.

This final happen 20 ago and yugoslavia then was close and they plqy back then with 1 center now also were close in group stage expect same match and maybe surprise

As the Olympics in Rio concludes I thought Australia should have won the bronze medal against Spain as they played a good offensive game.....All in all great competition

I bet on Australia in the first half and it was close by 4 points. Then I bet on Spain to win it after losing that one. So I got that win but barely. Both team captains had to make free throws in the last 2 minutes of regulation so that's why it was so close. Disappointing loss for the Aussies though.  |

It was very exciting and more entertaining match. I am totally confused who is going to win this match, till the end match was unpredictable. I thought to bet on the live game. But while playing the game, i am not sure who is a gone win. So safer side I am not placed my bet. Congrats Spain and bad luck Aus. |

the refs stole the bronze from the aussies. Otherwise it would of been Aussie
ball up 1 with 5 seconds left (game over) they would of had to foul or time runs
out.

I agree and it was unfortunate for Australia. They played great basketball and was so close to winning there first ever Olympic medal. Overall they had a great tournament. Congrats to the USA who were just too good and there were no doubts that they would win the gold medal and in the end I just put them on to win even though it was short odds @ 1.03 |

Not a chance, the Americans are better at the moment. But despite this Serbs are stil fighting and showing that they are a good team. They lost with big difference, and Serbia was destroyed in this finals. They didn't had a chance against USA, they are too strong for them and they showed that on court. Serbia need to practice much more to be able to play and maybe win one day, for now they are don't have power for that. USA is the best basketball nation on the world, and when they are in good mood for playing nobody can beat them. Once again they proved they superiority, and I don't think that soon someone will be able to move them from that throne. |

Intense game brought to us by Australia and Spain. I considered this game as one of the most exciting game throughout the Basketball game in Rio Olympics. Really a close and you can't really read well who will dominate until the end.
On the other hand, USA game is an obvious result. But well Serbia deserves the Silver medal. Congrats to all the teams.
