I know that gambling addiction (or any type of addiction, maybe not the most hardcore physical ones) can be cured when you will have something more serious to occupy your mind.
My friend used to be a hardcore gambler to the point he fell into huge debt, all caused by his gambling. But when he met the right kind of girl he stopped.
He found a proper job, worked hard 2 shifts job to pay off all his debts and they are getting married this summer.

I can relate to this very much! But I was not addicted into gambling but alcohol addiction. For 2 years, after graduating college, I became addicted to alcohol to the point that every single night, I will drink with friends and fraternal brothers. I was broke but I can manage to drink every single night, I don't know how I did that (actually my rich fraternal brothers are the one who pay for the beers most of the time!) I even thought that it was normal and everybody is drinking alcohol for that matter. I was really messed up until I met my wife - my life turns 360 degrees and now I have a good income and I can even buy her a car anytime if she wants to

When someone wins, they think that they might try their hands on it due to having luck, but who knows next, still they gamble.

You are right mate. But as long as there is still tomorrow, there is really hope. Hence, the person addicted to gambling still have a chance to change so long if he or she wants to. Even if it is very hard, as long as he/she wants to break free of the chain of gambling addition, other specialists can help.

They will only be help if they will admit that they are addicted with gambling, most of us does not accept that we are addicted as we believe we are in control of what we are doing, in short we are too bias with ourselves and we do not want to be corrected by others. once we make gambling as a habit then gets prepare to becom an addicted person in gambling games because this could attract to gets more deep in gambling and if you don't realize about the risk then you can gets bankrupt soon. being addicted is something that we should know and we should stay away from this by doing prevent to getting addicted. maybe we can do limit in our money so if somehow we are loss, we can stop in that limit amount.

Well we can all relate to it dude, I was also kind of addicted to gambling before such that I made my family suffer from it. But by luck, I met this girl who completely turn my left life away from gambling. Now I still gamble together with her, but its now just for fun with friends and families. We just in a casino near us, then we just watch some live shows play a little go shopping then went home. I don't gamble and lose that much money nowadays.

Because gambler, always dreaming and assume he will win alot on his current game. So his mind is obsessed with gambling. When he loses, he will try to find funds to gamble again.

Why do you think that someone who is addicted to gambling activities, has necessarily to lose his whole wealth?
That does not have to happen, I can see hundreds or even thousands of other ways to get out from such a bad habit.
I need to agree that this is a very difficult situation if you live on your own and you dont have any family, but if you are living with your girlfriend, she will know what are you doing: but she is not addicted, so she won't let you lose your whole money because she cares about you.

Every addiction may be cured, but you cannot do anything about such a thing if you dont really want to. it is only up to you to agree on treatment, and to stop wasting your money in casino/ on gambling websites.
