It is not gambling which is bad but the idea of making money only from it is worst. I have quit the idea of making money and now still doing gamble for fun more and surprisingly my stats are showing good positive figures. You can not judge well things when playing for money whereas fun let you think by different ways.

While a change of attitude does not modify your chances of winning or losing, it does modify how emotional you are in the game and allow you to take better decisions.

Your change of attitude for the better will only give you a chance to limit your loses because you will not chase anymore and you will not be greedy in gambling which most of the people failed because of the attitude, gambling is good if you are having it for fun but when you are making so much damage to your self the last option should be done which is to quit.

That is not totally correct, in game of skill like poker improving your attitude will help you take better decisions and at the end that could translate in an improved chance of profits.

yeah it's not going to be easy especially if you're already in that stage of addiction but it has to start somewhere and if you really want to stop, then doing it slowly would be the best start to do it. it would lessen your body's craving for gambling until the time comes you're not much looking for it anymore. it won't be that hard anymore once you're in that stage
