Maybe some coders can make a website where you put in your public key, and it automatically sends you an account.

I've received an account and installed the AMD OpenCL GPU miner, but I keep getting this error message in the logs: 20/12/2016 20:00:51.526 MAIN:00003090 [Error] <TPCThread> Cannot Protect a critical section by TPCThreadList after 100 milis 20/12/2016 20:01:52.762 TID:00000D84 [Update] <TPCOperationsComp> New block height:43905 nOnce:746490750 timestamp:1482260494 Operations:0 Fee:0 SafeBoxBalance:43906000000=43906000000 PoW:00000000000876CCF08D49F729C5FD3BC88B8A2601C01613E5F4D11C8CDD1F48 Operations previous Safe Box hash:9A9806A33A7F2FB72AF1D2460E1FF9D68E9C072FFD41215A4E667FD1D7903B24 Future old Safe Box hash for next block:9D3AA706290BF4C91FD12930DADF642AF09BFE703C001519AAC7A7A8B37983B7 20/12/2016 20:04:15.008 TID:00002A7C [Error] <TPCOperationsComp> Invalid new block 43906: Proof of work is higher than target 20/12/2016 20:04:15.008 TID:00002A7C [Error] <TJSONRPCTcpIpClient> Sending Error JSON RPC id () : Error: Proof of work is higher than target payload:TheBeast00 timestamp:1482260652 nonce:195803983 20/12/2016 20:09:39.812 MAIN:00003090 [Info] <TNetServer> Activating server on port 4004 20/12/2016 20:09:53.900 TID:00002A7C [Error] <TPCOperationsComp> Invalid new block 43906: Proof of work is higher than target 20/12/2016 20:09:53.900 TID:00002A7C [Error] <TJSONRPCTcpIpClient> Sending Error JSON RPC id () : Error: Proof of work is higher than target payload:TheBeast00 timestamp:1482260990 nonce:2319822750 20/12/2016 20:12:01.529 TID:00002A7C [Error] <TPCOperationsComp> Invalid new block 43906: Proof of work is higher than target 20/12/2016 20:12:01.529 TID:00002A7C [Error] <TJSONRPCTcpIpClient> Sending Error JSON RPC id () : Error: Proof of work is higher than target payload:TheBeast00 timestamp:1482261120 nonce:4080531732
Secondly, the miner very frequently just quits... Anyone else experienced this? A solution would be awesome Thanks! For problem #1, see my answer below, quoted from an older post. For problem #2 I have no clue, maybe Vork can help. It says that because not every nonce your miner finds is valid. Every time you find a nonce and it's not the correct solution it will say that but it does not prevent you from finding blocks when all conditions are met.
So, to summarize: the miner finds possible solutions, not guaranteed ones.
Regards.

Secondly, the miner very frequently just quits... Anyone else experienced this? A solution would be awesome Thanks! Yes, it's been discussed from time to time upthread. For a while the preferred "fix" was just to keep restarting it - usually it would magically work after, say, 4 attempts. I've had it work for weeks on end then fail for "no reason". I haven't been able to make it work for a couple of weeks now fwiw, despite trying all the usual tricks including reloading both the miner and the wallet and playing with AMD driver versions. Since it is mentioned from time to time, but not by many people at any given time, I'd guess it will be a hard one to pin down. The associated Windows message is no help at all, something like "an error has occurred". I miss it.

Thanks! Good news for item 1. Can I add a question 3 while I'm here? What does this mean: 20/12/2016 20:00:51.526 MAIN:00003090 [Error] <TPCThread> Cannot Protect a critical section by TPCThreadList after 100 milis Google only points to the GitHub code when asked, but that's way beyond my skill level... This message is not an error... is only a protection to prevent zoombie scroll on visual wallet. Please discard it

hi boys. i am in now glad to grab a large chunk of pascal on exchanges. it was not even possible by OTC in last few months. I believe this is something very rare in crypto nowadays and quite outstanding compared to those shitcoins out there. community is robust. concept is unique. Pascal deserves more attention. bittrex will come and polo is very possible. they need some innovative creation to compensate for mistakes they made recently. cheers.

Would it be possible to assign a nick to each account?
For example Account# 0-10 "Mining Pool Fund" ; 1-22 "Coin Development Fund" And can we write/set rules for each account? Something like a contract.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've found it will work with Win8 compatibility and no elevated (admin) privileges - at least so far. It's nice to be mining again, even if it's a bit crowded now.

@cyberhacker Here is a model to get listed on Poloniex, adapt your text a little so that it's a bit different each time! I just submitted the Poloniex coin request. https://poloniex.com/coinRequestPoloniex Coin Request * Required What is the name of the coin? * Pascalcoin What is the coin's symbol? * PASC Please link to the announcement page. * https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1583719.0If the coin has a website, please link it here. http://www.pascalcoin.org/If the coin has a block explorer, please link it here. http://explorer.pascalcoin.org/Please explain why you would like to see this coin added to the exchange. * The developer, Albert Molina is very active and innovative. There have already been 12 version updates. The coin has a very active community on Bitcoin talk and twitter, etc. I think there would be heavy trading activity if it could get listed on a top notch trusted exchange like Poloniex. It has just been listed on Bitsquare.io but I think people are looking for a more established, less complicated and trusted exchange. If this coin has any significant innovations over other coins, please elaborate on them here. Pascal Coin is an easy to understand and work with Crypto, that is similar to a bank. It uses easy to remember accounts instead of cryptographic addresses and works with personal accounts to receive/send coins. It's the first Alt-coin designed to work without a historical operations requirement yet is still able to control double spending or check balance. The Pascal Coin block-chain can be deleted at anytime and will continue working perfectly, without the problem of double spending. Optional: What is your name in the Poloniex exchange chatbox? Vibajajo Are you the developer of this coin or otherwise affiliated with it? * No
