Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

For those that are wondering.... this is what happens when you plug in a Antminer to mine PASC.

Look at the rejects.

so algo SHA256D (not SHA256 like in btc)  works as been told for gpu only, great.

SHA256D should mean "double sha256", exactly what bitcoin uses.
Could the devs please clarify what's the difference?
If it's just how the block header is setup, it may be possible for ASICs to be adapted.

gtx 1070 (366MHASH)
3x gtx 970 (270-300 MHASH)

100% cpu load. Unusable.

About 100% cpu load: say thx to nvidia that they don't give a shit about opencl support and bug fixes.

Header is longer and nonce at different place, just have a look at the miners source and you'll see the difference.

ASICs can't be used because they use a fixed length of the hash.

GPUs and FPGAs
Exactly the same mining algorithm used in Bitcoin and you can use existing Bitcoin mining software with trivial modifications. To be more specific, a one bit change to the second SHA256 chunk's padding (h0280 -> h0680). You will also need to modify the host/controller software to pass the difficulty and optionally increment the time stamp.

Bitcoin SHA256d data:
80 byes fixed.

Pascal SHA256d data:
208 byes fixed - but variable.

FPGA:
Ztex 1.15y hash rate 890 MH/s @ 45 Watts from the outlet.

Yes, it is as simple as flipping on a single bit. But you will also need to modify the controller software.

After some calculations, I can say that, people has to mine ZEC ETH and PASC with appropriate GPUs.
for ex:
for PASC, RX 480
for ZEC R9 290X
for ETH R9 390
are faster.
So I mine PASC (with RX 480s) and ZEC for now. After some days/weeks PASC price lowers and we will see if still profitable.
Don't forget, when you go to WhattoMine site, select Coins, Select Pascal, the calculator is shit. Not showing correct values.
Cryptocompare is showing the correct values.
Whattomine made my calculations false and so I trusted Nanopool, later I switched back to Solo 10 hours ago to Suprnova. The truth is Suprnova, thanks to Ocminer. I get 755 MHs with a single RX 480. No overclock no mods.

What is the power consumption from wall per rx480@755Mhs or rig?

on polo someone trade bot, buying back pasc, in 24h price recovers, why all this FUD?
when big dump happen, bot still set small buy orders, so its normal situation.

Well I'm not next to the rig at the moment, but I can guess that, according to the fan speeds, with nano miner, it was louder, and powered off once, but with Zec and Pasc system is working just fine. I may measure after 10 hours when I'm next to rig. But for sure I'm earning x3-x5 more now with ocminer/suprnova than Nanopool, although a couple of days ago difficulty was lower.

How is this possible ? I mined on nano from the start, maybe I would get twice the payment ??
