Some people don't understand that Ethereum is de best option to build on. They have the best devs the more then 300 dapss in their dapstore, big companies testing on ethereum like ibm siemens deloitte and microsoft azure is already integrated ethereum as a service. Ethereum is being attacked because they (bitcoin) are scared and they know they can lose alot of marketcap to ethereum so they atack to harm the trust of people. Ethereum is hardening every time when attacked. Al other blockchainplatform solutions are far behind ethereum because when they are in the top 3 then the attackers will aim on them too. smart contract platforms look safe (lisk, stratis, synereo) but are absolutely not. I think devolopment is more important then price of ether. Iconomi made the best choice to choose for ethereum. Sorry for my english im from Holland.
Not quite true actually. The big companies like the idea of smart contracts, but none of them has built anything on ethereum blockchain. There is a big difference between testing on and deploying a real product or service on. Can you point out one product, service or use case that is working on ethereum? Don't tell me Iconomi, but a service that one of these companies that you mentioned are providing? As for Azure - it is Blockchain as a service, not ethereum as a service. Sure, IBM and IoT, Microsoft, Santander and others are very much into blockchains and smart contracts. Does it mean they are going to use ethereum blockchain to deploy their services? Bitcoin is scared, that's why "bitcoin" attacks ethereum? What are you 15 y/o? Since currently there is no other real alternative, Iconomi made the ONLY available choice to deploy on ethereum. You have to be ignorant if you ignore that bitcoin has the biggest motive to attack ethereum. It is totally normal that they are scared that there is a serious competitor in the game. Even a 15 year old understand this. And they gonna do everything to destroy it. I never said there is a product ot service build on Ethereum what people are using, but thats not strange because ethereum is in the development fase when the platform is ready (Metropolis) then we gonna see real world usage. Why is the only available choice? Because they are the BEST available choice You have to be ignorant if you ignore that bitcoin has the biggest motive to attack ethereum... they are scared Why would they want to attack Ethereum? And who is "they"? Bitcoin core devs? Miners? Can you backup your claims about that fear somehow? Or is it your hunch and a crystal ball? You are the one talking like a 15 y/o child. Applying that I am ignorant doesn't help you prove your point. Which is what, exactly?

I don't have to claim or proof anything we are not in court. But i tell you a bedtimestory: There are two giants at the moment an old fat pig and a lion. And the lion is gonna eat the fat pig for lunch But the fat pig called her friend the snake to attack the lion. Untill the snake is out of poison the pig lives, after that Lion wil be king. You understand now?

I bought at 0.00025 BTC and didn't sold them yet even though the price went up to 30k satoshi and down to 17k satoshi. any exchangers have listing iconomi to trade except on kraken? do iconomi have a plan to make iconomi can be traded directly with bitcoin (ICN/BTC) ?
Actually where iconomi is active on exchanges is Kraken and Liqui but the last one I have seen a scam accusation against them So you better try and get verified in kraken and trade there until the Iconomi team decided to list the Iconomi somewhere else.

Starts to look more like bi-weekly fork. Let's hope that we won't end up with another active chain. The last thing we need is ICN classic. Some kid here said something about a pig and a lion?

ICN should be its own entity
It needs to get the fuck away from mETH asap.
Move as far away from the fucking joke that mETH is becoming.
And trust me, I used to be a massive mETH fan boi......

How do u explain a weekly fork and daily high severity "bugs" in the underlaying protocol? Now we are still flying below the radar, but what will happen when the platform will be operative and people will invest into live funds? Or when another major issue will prevent or mess up dividends distribution? Those forks are really really bad for any service that is using Ethereum in production, especially a fin-tech platform.

Iconomi postponed the token distribution because of network problems, remember? I'd say we have at least 100 pages of cry babies and bitching in this thread because of that, and that is just btt. Now imagine something similar with grownups, "old world" investors.. Ethereum is an infrastructure service provider to Iconomi and all other app tokens built on top. What happens when infrastructure service starts to have availability and performance problems, such as email or cloud-based service? Or when that infrastructure service needs to patch every week because of security flows? So far, Ethereum, as such, has failed. I don't even want to think about the scenario that some miners will decide to fork again in a future "upgrade". Go explain to the same non-tech investors that suddenly there is ICN-classic stock, but no reason to worry - the team does not support or develop it. If these forks and flows continue, Iconomi should seriously consider and test alternatives. That can turn out to be a show stopper for investors! Stability is the most important part in the early stages of a project like that. You can't have trust without stability, and without trust - there is nothing.

Firstly, I would say that Ethereum although is suffering from many problems recently, but still it's the best option for smart contact right now. If they use another blockchain for smart contacts, they have to use the same blockchain to pay the dividends. I think, it would take much time to shift on to another blockchain. Ethereum forks are a sign that Ethereum is actively bring improved. ( Also a sign that it has flaws). I think, many other blockchains would be having undetected problems in them. There are lots of developers on Ethereum, so many problems are detected. I would say, that is best option to remain in Ethereum ( till there's a fork which makes smart contacts incompatible, hehe , just joking, it would never happen)
