I was wondering if this visit would be timed with the launch of ICN on a Chinese exchange.

4) The exact number of minimum ICN will vary with time. However, if you will keep your ICNs at an exchange that will support dividends or pool providers that will emerge, then any amount will do. Currently, this number will be fixed at 42 ICN. The cost of dividend distribution should be proportionally lower than the value of tokens one has.

Minimum 42 ICN is to prevent someone from splitting 1 ICN into 1000 ethereum addresses.  Then Iconomi would have to pay have to pay ~80MM gas (~4 ETH) transaction fees just to send the dividends for that 1 ICN.

Transaction fee is roughly (80000 gas × 0.00000005 ETH/gas) = 0.004 ETH for each ICN address that receives dividends

(1302 total ICN addresses × 0.004 ETH/address) = 5.208 ETH to send out a batch of dividends currently.

Dividends are spam for sure ... there are no dividends (5000 ETH investment  ), there will not be any decent dividends for the people having under 100k ICN .. .and even for that amount will be ... not relevant when considering the risk/reward ratio.
Poloniex is the only decent way this will generate profit .. by pumping and dumping ... like any shit coin. Blocked money for a shitty 1.1 x profit. Still can't believe how frustrated suns of bitches these dev's can be, to prevent the same people from which they took the money from, to also make some profits.

How the fuck can you make a profit without first having ROI. Profit is what you get after ROI. And you can have profit by dividends (pure joke) or by selling you tokens ... So nobody had any ROI or profit except those who sold already ... which is a stupid move as for sure like any shit coin a pump will follow. People are stupid, self delusion about dividends ... so let's wait for the devs to fuck us again with some great investment and stories about juicy dividends.

As I keep saying over and over, you can't compare BTC prices of ICN at ICO and now because of BTC appreciation.  You've got to use USD.   ICN price at ICO was 0.1257 USD per ICN.  ICN price now at coinmarketcap.com is 0.1639 USD per ICN.  Thus ICN is currently up 30% since ICO even with the dip over the past few days.

with such a small amount of ICN tokens, like i have (that makes me super small investor) --> (arround 5-10k ICN) i can not think i will live happily with just dividends...

That makes me in position to leave and  rest my ICNs on mywallet and by the words of iconomi team saying that ICN is not pump & dump (which for my perspective is good).


i will check after new year and see if maybe there is some pump, as far it concerns the exchanges the more people will trade more UP the price will be.

The performance fund may not be the primary source of dividends.

It's a flagship fund for the OFM platform.

If userbase and fees from OFM platform grows to equal the current size of Bittrex, then that would mean roughly $10k per week sent to ICN holders as dividends.

If it grows to size of Bitstamp revenue, then it would be $45k per week in dividends.
