If you have all your ICN on kraken then yes!! you will only get dividends (which are not active yet) if you hold your ICN on myetherwallet or ico.iconomi site .. iconomi might add some feature (wallet) soon ... atm no exchange will get you dividends (kraken, liqui) time to buy another 5-6k ICN  it was very expensive, I think 100 million ICN supplies for the price of 1000 satoshi  |

It would be nice if either exchanges would distribute dividends to the users, or there would be a blacklisting system, which would blacklist exchange addresses (although that smells like it may have some abusive potential). |

I doubt Kraken would complicate itself for some lauzy eth Correct me if I'm wrong, but Kraken's use of price precision (e.g. 6 decimal places on BTC, rather than 8 ) always suggested to me that they get to keep a lot of the dust from deposits/trades. Following on from that line of thinking, I'd find it easy to conclude that they are greedy, and would never honour dividends to customers. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about the price precision, though. I may have misunderstood the calculations involved. |

This is a very interesting read. I have said several times before, if I had to choose 1 cryptocurrency to put all my money into before going to live on an island for 10 years with no access to technology, which would it be? Personally, I would choose Bitcoin and be confident that I would be very rich after 10 years of holding. This mental exercise illustrates why Bitcoin will remain #1 crypto, because it is most trusted store of value and has a very powerful network effect. However, if I was allowed to split between BTC/ETH like in this article, then I would trust leaving 25% in ETH for 10 years. The team at Worchester who said they would do 100% ETH for 5 years must be holding. Let's use the same question in reverse. If you had to choose one coin 10 years ago, what would you have chosen? This 'revolution' of 'coins' requires weekly monitoring. The winning code might not have be written yet. But the best will win and the legacy systems will only exist in history books and collector wallets. |
