As you are a Newbie, let me introduce you to the evil creatures who live in the undergrowth of the crypto world. They are mischievous, slimy and manipulative creatures who pry on Noobs, weak hands, and people with anxiety disorder.

Their weapon of choice is FUD. Their strategy goes like this:

1. Create fake news to build up anticipation (example: saying that ICONOMI are going to a conference and assuming a BIG announcement of launching the platform is made)
2. Work up people using various fake accounts, by posting Lambo pics, moon pics, posts about anticipating the big reveal ...etc.
3. Agree with your fellow cretins on a set date and value for dumping
4. Dump as agreed
5. Erode value by attacking coin, founders, and questioning their integrity
6. Buy at set low
7. Rinse and repeat

This is the typical evil crypto cretin strategy. It is usually best not to buy into it or they will reproduce and hurt more people.

I don't think ICONOMI is a scam, but its value proposition is gone, so there's no point holding now while you can buy cheaper in next few days in the 0.00030s or 0.00020s.
After they launch ICNX trading platform, people may get excited initially but that will be very short lived since dividends is still non-existant and the Open Fund Management is not coming until end of 2017 / beginning 2018 at the earliest.
Here's the hard truth: They took over 6 months to release ICNX trading platform, which means they will take at least another 9 to 12 months to release the OFM platform with multiple funds.

With no news from the conference, ICN will most likely drop to 0.00030s this weekend.
When these ICOs start next week, ICN will drop to 0.00020s.

Devs already said that ONLY ICNX fund trading is launching in Q1 2017.
The Iconomi OFM platform is NOT launching until later in 2017.
