Plus starting with a $101 Million market cap is most certainly not going to be good for its investors.  I can easily see it plummeting down to about $35 million in the first week after launch, where the price might either continue to plummet to the low $20's million in the next following months to maybe hover in the mid $45-55 million market cap, which either way wont give good feelings for its investors, and I would see mass panic sells as people see a much lower price than ICO and that causes nervousness amounts weak hands and people who are unable to detach their feelings out of their own financial investment and the numbers they see in the charts at their screens.

At an opening $101 million market cap, in order to realize an ROI of 10x you would have to see its market cap reach to $1.01 BILLION and do you honestly see TaaS reach well above a billion market cap?  Nope, they will have to perform astronomically well before they can see such a market cap, but in the meal while, I say that everyone who partakes in its ICO might be disappointed for months to come.  I say, if you want to partake in TaaS, that it would be better to wait for that ICO to be over, and then wait for the price to plummet and then buy your TaaS shares, you might end up with a greater amount of TaaS tokens in your hand for the same amount of money you plan to invest, OR if you can't help yourself and fear the price soaring after ICO for any reasons you think, then set aside some capital that you dont care to loose at all, and then invest that, then after ICO is over if you see the price plummeting then invest the rest you planned to invest.

To those who still think that February 9th is going to be disappointing and that they aren't going to announce a launch date think about this.  Why would the team go to Florida to announce a minor update? Something that they could easily post on the slack page. At this conference they are going to show us a working version of the platform. If you think I am wrong think of big video game conferences like E3. You don't see video game developers like EA come with nothing.. they have a version of the platform to increase interest about their upcoming games. Now I am not saying that they will release the platform on the 9th, however, I think we will get to see our first look at it, thus increasing interest in Iconomi.

From our perspective is all so easy rlease asap and make it work.
But in rality you need to think about hacks exploits makes many audits before you release stuff to public.
This is not ICO token release that they can move fast like DAO and end like dao.
Anyway soon should be OK to release some stuff.

What you are saying is only possible when the ICONOMI team launches the index fund and start giving dividends , the way they are making late it is not possible as still they have not given any date clearly even the feb 9th conference they are not clear about whether they are going to launch the index fund or even announce any good news.

He was the CTO of some startup for 5 years and an engineer before that (I only dug around for a few minutes so I may have missed something). I mean, on the one hand, he probably understands tech very well, but on the other, he does not have any portfolio/risk management experience...
