Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Such dump in 2 hours, seems like FUDsters did it! Here is how it works:
1. Make FUD on bitcointalk, tell the fake "prediction"!
2. DUMP coins you own, in this case he/they had a lot of them, so he/they is/are making nice money.
3. PROFIT!!!
These are not people buying melonport shit, it's planned attack on ICONOMI!!!
How I know this?
I have seen around 6 such attacks on other projects! It's only for making money from newbies! They manipulate, it's psychology of masses, just like world control system works - the same way as money works - on FEAR!!!!

For the love of god. The price is bouncing now and my deposit to Kraken still hasn't cleared. Of the last 5 blocks, one was 40 mins long and another is still going at 30 mins.
I'm missing the awesome price!

i'd invest some to melonport but will still retain the investment to ICN. I prefer ICN.
NOT sure how scammy melonport actually but if I can buy if they are cheap it will be good. if they plan to compete ICN, melonport dev are indeed going to scam later on. they don't even try to create a thread here. its to avoid questions.
